It's probably the only place where you can find seating in the Air & Space Museum at the moment (with all the construction). Other than sitting down and watching a documentary. We originally were thinking of getting some bottled water, but the blueberry lightsabor drink looked very refreshing on the menu screen. I should have known that we would get something completely different. It did have fresh blueberries in it. I'll give it that. The drink was darker, and had a stale blue twizzler in it. They'll ask you to pick a straw flavor. Don't pick the lime. You've been warned. It had an awful taste, and smelled like toilet bowl cleaner. Play it safe and pick the unflavored one if you want to enjoy your drink. The service was okay. The tables were clean. We found the only table that wasn't occupied. It was busy, and they got our order out in a timely manner. They get an extra star for that. Would I go back? Probably not. There are other Smithsonian museum cafés that are better.

I ate lunch here while visiting the museum. The line was long, but it was moving. There are a lot of options for food and beverage here at the café. Wanting to know is that there is alcohol available for purchase. The menu is nothing special mostly just basic items you could find at most places. The dining room is too small for the café and it is hard to find seating. This is not good since you have to eat the food in the café. I ordered a turkey meal and got a bottle of water which cost $23. I’m not too mad about the price because I know it is for the museum and the museum is free. If I revisit it again, I definitely would not eat at the café.

Of all of the museum cafes we visited, this was the most unsettling. One server, a middle aged Asian female, consistently reprimanded the other servers in a negative way the short time we were in line although it appeared that they were just trying to do their job. Bravo to the young women working with her. I heard one server refer to her as Karen. She also got impatient with the customer in front of us. This is a complete reversal of our fun, leisurely experience at the Cafe in the American Art Museum.
