I wish I could give zero stars. We ordered our pizza at 6:17 tonight and we were quoted an hour for delivery. We called after an hour and a half passed to check on our order. We were told that the pizza had left, they can't contact the driver but it should be here any time. We are not unreasonable people, it's a Friday and very busy night for pizza delivery. Our cold pizza finally arrived, 2 HOURS after we placed our order. As this is not our first issue with Pizza Pipeline, we called and asked to talk to the manager, so we can better plan deliveries and understand where the hiccup is in ordering/'delivery...we have hungry teenagers. We talked to Brandon, the manager. He told us that delivery times are just an "estimate" and they are not bound by them and have no responsibility for any estimates, even if they are an extra hour over the estimate or if the pizza is delivered cold. He had ZERO customer service skills in a customer service industry, he never even apologized or offered to do anything to fix it. He didn't care one bit about our experience, then he hung up on me. I never write reviews because there are many things I'd rather be doing, but Brandon pushed me to make an exception this time. This is one of the worst customer experiences I've had for as long as I can remember. We've loved Pizza Pipeline since my wife and I were in college 20+ years ago. We recently moved to a new neighborhood and were extremely excited to learn that Pizza Pipeline delivered to the area. The first time we ordered Pizza Pipeline for our kids, it was great to hear how much they liked it and specifically asked for it. Read moreFood was fantastic however, when I placed an online order for South Hill and arrived to pick it up I was told it would be about 5 more minutes I waited in my car. When I noticed the driver coming to the lobby and towards the door with my order I went back in to collect my order and was told it wasn't cooked and the oven was broke. Not sure why it was boxed up if it wasn't cooked. I was told they didn't know how long it would take because the oven was broke so the manager finally appeared to give me a refund for my online order. No apologies from the manager, no i'm sorry for your inconvenience. Granted it's not anyone's fault the oven is broken when I order food. I wasn't offered anything to compensate for the troubles. she did not offer suggestions for getting my order filled at another location near by. I'm disappointed. I placed a new order at the Sullivan location and drove all the way back to that area of the valley where I just left to pick up my order from the south hill on my way out of town. The crew on Sullivan were kind enough to hear me out about my situation and informed me that the oven at south hill isn't really broken. The delivery driver left and on his way out jammed his chewing gum into my deadbolt. That was fun to pick out! Why you ask, Id like to know myself since I gave him a 20%tip. I had to throw my food out and luckily got a refund after a lengthy conversation with the manger no apology or nothing though! After that behavior god know what happened to my food on the way. They said they would deal with the worker. Went by today to pick up wings to avoid a bad delivery driver only to see the same disgusting person now handling people food. To top it off I got two 1/2lb order of wings and one box has 4 wings that barley weighed 5oz! Not sure if they don't know how much a half a lb is or what their issue is!
