Have you tried Pizzeria Paradiso yet? I was excited to go to this place for DC Veg Restaurant Week after so many of my friends had spoken really highly of it. They are super vegan friendly—with delicious Follow Your Heart cheese that can be used to turn most pizzas vegan and friendly to those who cannot tolerate dairy. I was surprised to find that not only do they offer whole wheat crust, it was so good I actually preferred it to the standard. Plus, they have vegan desserts! Tony, the general manager, was super good to us, and the wait staff were attentive and friendly. Their back room was a great space, working well for our group of about a dozen people with a lot of ventilation. Don’t miss this great spot for vegan pizza!

This restaurant is great for pizza and a few craft beers. You smell the fresh pizza when you enter the front door. It's a hip college crowd with American University across the street. So grab a slice and a beer and dont forget to play some great pinball. They have the brand new Munsters Pinball by Stern. This pinball is hot off the factory floor being released last week. They also have a Pirates of the Caribbean and a Iron Man pinball. Dont forget to play your favorite retro games on the Multicade.

I was so pleased with Pizzeria Paradiso! Coming from NYC I wasn’t sure how the pizza would compare, but it was actually so good! I liked the cheese pizza better than the veggie pizza I had, but the veggie was still good (those aren’t the actual names of the pizzas, I just couldn’t remember them). My brother and sister got paninis, and they said they were extremely good! Our service was great, and the restaurant was very clean. I definitely would grab another pizza if I’m ever in the area again!

I was in town visiting my family and we decided to come here for dinner. I remember eating at the DuPont circle restaurant many years ago so was excited to return. I was quite disappointed with the experience. The service was poor. As an example, we were seated on the heated patio, which we were told was enclosed. Towards the end of our meal, the waitstaff opened up the section of the tent next to us, I think so they could serve a couple with their dog seated outside. It became quite cold and it was a bit bizarre they didn’t say anything to us about it or offer to move us inside, as it completely changed the temperature. We were getting the bill anyway so we just put our coats on. Our waitress seemed disinterested and forgot to bring my drink even after I reminded her. I finally flagged down another waiter who was helpful and friendly and he brought it to me. The food was subpar. The Buffalo wings were inedible. I ordered the Genovese pizza which I did not like- quite flavorless. On the upside, the insalada mista was fine and the margarita pizza was very good. The pizza crust was excellent. Overall a disappointing experience - overpriced for the quality of the food, and the service was disappointing. I would not recommend and...

Had a very disappointing experience at Pizzeria Paradiso this weekend. The food was good enough - standard, I would say for when you’re in the mood for pizza. But the service left much to be desired. We sat at the bar and things started out fine. But after our food came, no one ever came to check to see how things were. Still, though, that isn’t egregious enough for a 1 ⭐️ service review. It was 8:50 when we asked for a sample of another wine to decide on another bottle to order. The bartender looked at his watch, said nothing, and pulled up three glasses. The watch glance was a bit jarring so we asked if they were closing soon as other patrons next to us had just ordered and received food and drinks at the bar. The bartender literally said "yep" without looking at us. Needless to say, we said never mind we’ll leave. Again, he said nothing and gave us our check. Never said "thanks," "have a good night," whatever. If a 20% service fee weren’t included on the check already, we would not have given that much. I won’t...

We have been long time customers and normally really enjoy ourselves. I’ll say the pizza was fantastic, but other things were below par. Our waitress seemed insecure taking our drink order. The Negroni was missing Vernouth, was weak, small and in the wrong type of glass. We asked for an Old Fashioned instead-which ended up making me feel ill. She took our appetizer order but then failed to return to take our pizza order. Had to ask another very nice waiter. At the end she didn’t take the Negroni off the bill and they turned off the out door heaters on us before we were ready to leave. Just not a good experience. Probably won’t be back. Definitely won’t order a mixed drink. It was the first time we brought our adult kids to experience it and was embarrassed because we had said how much we...
