I made an online order and the app malfunctioned because I think it thought I was ordering for curbside and made it for 11am instead of the time I was trying to pickup. I tried calling first, no answer. So I showed up and tried to explain to him what had happened and he was so rude about it. There is no way for me to cancel it on the app so he kept saying he won’t get paid cuz the order will cancel when I don’t come at 11 and the money will go back on to my card. He wasn’t yelling but was very defensive and just pure rude when it wasn’t my fault that the app messed up and your system didn’t print it. Just make a note for staff in the morning if the order prints and mark it as picked up so you do get paid? This was the owner acting like this. So he made my sandwiches and then after throwing a fit asked if I could come in tomorrow and pay for them and was like “I’m putting it on you to come in and make this right.” Like no, I wasn’t rude, I didn’t demand anything. All I did was show him my receipt and what had happened. I was so flustered about how rude he was I didn’t even grab my drink and chips, I just walked out. It’s disappointing cuz this is the only one that’s open 24 hours but I will not be coming back after someone treats customers like that. I understand customer service well in my professions and I just could not imagine treating someone like that especially as the owner. Read moreI sometimes get a sandwich to go so I can eat it at my lunch break. I get it very early in the morning. I toast it at work. They have Always put the veggies and dressing on the side so the whole thing doesn't get soggy. Very nice of them to do that and a totally appreciate it! This morning I placed my usual order but was told they only have the tiny containers. The larger ones were sitting right there! I offered to pay extra for the larger container for my fresh veggies. She told me I could put all in the container, but would have to pay for it as a salad. On top of me paying for the sandwich! I don't think so! I'm not getting anything extra except the container. She was so efficient, made my sandwich really well and with care, and asked all the usual questions in a clear voice and useful order. I know it seems like there's not much difference between subway ordering, but she really stood out as doing a fantastic job. She also complimented my sweater, which was really nice because I've had a rough week and it was just such a pleasant thing to hear late night when I was tired and just needed some food. She had curly hair and a bandana, and if there's any possible way to give her a raise or at least a bonus, she very very much deserves it.
