Pho Hoang Yen — Restaurant in Mill Creek

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

a genuine safety concern. there needs to be a case study done on the owner or whoever the older vietnamese man working is. we ordered pho with steak and it took around twenty minutes for food to come out, when it did the order was wrong, and whilst all this was happening the manager happened to be the most rudest person we had interacted with in years. after we correct our order through quarrels of him arguing and yellijg ar us, we decided just to go and take our losses since we waited even longer for what we originally ordered. after we get to our parked car, the owner/person who took our ordered, proceeds to flips us off and take off his pants and swing his appendage around in broad daylight. we laughed it off but genuinely we felt scared for our safety in a somewhat funny way. either way the food that did come out did not look good at all the restaurant itself had barely opened but it looked like it hadnt been cleaned in months.

SERIOUSLY, avoid. He probably handled food after touching his genitals and swinging it...

Sub par Pho.. not sure how it has the reviews it does. First trying to order, the guy trying to take the order was so rough in English, my wife and I were scared that the order would be correct. They place Costco/Kirkland signature bottle water on the table-- we didn't bother opening, not sure if their water is not drinkable?!? But that's the first thought and if they use any of it in broths. The Pho broth was sooooo oily and bland in flavor. The meatballs were ok, nothing special or crazy about them. The mango bubble tea was horrible-bitter and nothing close to mango. The shrimp spring rolls were ok, again nothing special. This will be the one and only time coming here for...

A not very clean, well lighted place with food that matches the reasonable prices. Overall, not bad but could be better, especially if cleaner. Our glass tabletop had apparently been wiped down with a dirty rag, leaving a mottled film of grease. Totally ruined my confidence when me and my friend first sat down. And too bad because it's such a simple fix. Place a bit run down but that's not a deal breaker for me if it's clean. Broth in my pho a bit too sweet for my liking. Lots of fresh basil and bean sprouts. Service was adequate, prompt. Nice plants and sunlight in south facing front window. Has potential but maybe seen it's better...
