This was our second time here for an annual Cinco de Mayo lunch with friends. Everything about this place is 5/5. The staff is always friendly, it is always super easy to find parking out front, the service is great and the food is AMAZING. I came here yesterday with my friends for Cinco de Mayo and we had a lovely lunch, just as we did last year on Cinco de Mayo. We started with chips and guac (the complimentary salsa they give with the chips is yummy, too) and the Mexican street corn. I got the shrimp and steak fajitas, and my friends got the chicken tacos and the ground beef nachos. Everyone was extremely happy with their meals and everything was cooked to perfection. We had the tres leches for dessert and OMG, was it the best tres leches I've had in the DMV area. I want to go back for the dessert alone! For drinks we got margaritas (you HAVE to get the passionfruit margarita), mojitos and ended with a shot of chilled reposado. Definitely adding Sweet Agave as one of my favorite places for Mexican food and cannot wait to come back outside of just once per year for Cinco. A must try...
Read moreI love Mexican food, so I searched a place near my job to treat myself and continue my journey on exploring Mexican eateries, hands down the food is amazing, I ordered ahead and didn’t have to wait long for pick up, I had ordered for two other people so you can say it was a big order, it just took a little longer because they were busy, the ambiance seemed welcoming and everyone was either enjoying themselves and there food (even children were demolishing their plates) or eagerly waiting for a table, which is a good thing. My only problem was that, their menu prices didn’t match my charges, when I brought the issue to the manager, she was in no way willing to adjust to their advertising, which is normally a big red flag for me, she made excuses that they were in the process of updating the menu, I felt as if I were of another ethnicity, she would have been attentive to the matter and more willing to fix it and without hesitation, however I would like to give more feedback based on an in house dining experience, as there are more selections, that I would...
Read moreThis is my new favorite restaurant for delicious Mexican food. I have enjoyed each visit here. My favorites on the menu are the Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos, Chorizo Tacos, Fried Yuca, Lomo Saltado, and the Chile Relleno Y Pork Enchilada. My recent favorite has been a special that's a ribeye steak and two shrimp, I just forgot what it's called. My friends and family have tried the fajitas and the Carmarones A La Diabla from what I can remember. Both looked amazing.
The service has been solid most nights, and reservations are easy to make. The restaurant is narrow with a good number of TVs, so that could be good or bad depending on the type of environment you want. But one side of every table I have been there are seats that don't face a TV. There is some outdoor seating as well. Parking has been easy for the most part, especially on...
