I usually come to this diner when it was “Mary’s Diner” so upon arrival I noticed it was now Linda’s. My sister asked if I would like to go elsewhere & I decided to give it a try since we were already there. The waitress was cool however the the owner turned me completely off. I had ordered home fries, bacon, toast & short stack regular pancakes. I enjoyed everything but the pancakes which was very distasteful & tasted like dough. of course I had to a bite of it to determine that & they sat there until we were done. I politely explained to the owner who checked me out that I didn’t like or eat the pancakes & the attitude she displayed was horrible! She seemed offended that I didn’t enjoy them & when I asked can it be taken off my bill since I didn’t even eat them she rudely said NO, there’s nothing I can do. In that moment I grew very annoyed but I kept my composure & paid the bill knowing ILL NEVER COME BACK AGAIN OR RECOMMEND anyone else to!!! I didn’t argue whatsoever I simply said okay no problem, paid for nasty pancakes I didn’t eat or enjoy & told my sister we will never eat there again. Bottom line it’s the principal if a customer doesn’t like their food & doesn’t eat it then it should be taken off the bill just like any other restaurant. It was the audacity of the owner even getting upset over something so normal. Not everyone is going to like your food get over it & learn better customer service skills because if that was me a few years ago before all this growth she probably would have had to call the police. There will be one day she does that to someone who isn’t so mature & doesn’t care about losing anything. Im truly disappointed & I just hope other peoples experience won’t be like mine...

I have been dining here for about 2 years now. I stopped going for a few months, after the price of the hungry man rose $1. ( The food is edible , however, it does not taste that great, if I’m to be honest).

I went to Mary’s 2 Friday (2/12/21) about 1:15 p.m and had the usual afternoon order of a Hungry Man experience. This time, I feel compelled to address my dissatisfaction. The food was room temperature and the home fries were dark ( the appearance of reheated potatoes that have been sitting out all morning). I shouldn’t have to order a breakfast item before 10:00 a.m. to receive at a minimum, average quality food.

I imagine it’s my fault 🥺 for arriving after 10:00 a.m.🤷🏽‍♀️. In my humble opinion this establishment should NOT offer breakfast during its full operating hours if it is not going to exercise care in the quality of its food it is selling ( I paid) vs donating to a soup kitchen or something.

Just a suggestion- if your cooked supply is more than your anticipated demand DON’T sell it to people! Dry sausage, room temperature french toast, and dark home fries is unappealing.

Jenny is a nice and friendly server but that cold cup of coffee Friday...

Super disappointed I just moved to this town I usually go to east gate diner recommended by my husband. But today I decided to give Linda’s a try because they’re super convenient & close to my house, unfortunately my food was super cold no onions like I requested & the bread on the burger was hard. my patty I requested to be well done but this ain’t it. Linda’s needa leave the wanna be fancy classy show & catering to your customers palettes this was one of the most bland burgers I ever had. 🥲 first time & it will be my last.

Another early morning to 3PM diner with a good sized space for breakfast and lunch patrons. Service is very accommodating considering how long we stayed after eating our meals. My French Toast with bacon was such a large serving I brought half home; my partner liked his waffle but thought his sausage could have been more flavorful; our two dining companions liked both their meals - a spinach omelet and an order of scrambled eggs with bacon , no toast. Very busy in terms of patronage.

Food was delicious too much had to take some home... beautifully plated .. very clean.. womans restroom pretty. Wait staff very sweet. Definitely will go again... love the fact that i had the option to dry hands with paper towel. And use as much soap as i needed!!! Turkey club, roast beef club... sandwiches were served with french fries, cole slaw and a fresh pickel spear... And a western omelet over top of corn beef hash with homestyle potatoes and rye toast.
