Have heard raving reviews about this place by word of mouth from friends that live in that area and was excited to try tamales and order more food while we were there at the meat counter. My husband ordered food (12 tamales) and went to pick it up and the experience was distasteful to say the least. Our food order was sitting visibly ready on the counter when we arrived. No one acknowledged my husband with our toddler when he got there, given there were 3 waitresses available. My husband got someone's attention and paid at the register for the tamales. Again, OUR order was right there on the counter yet 30 minutes we waited. 5 people walked in after us and were all served before us, some sat down were served food and others got their carryouts. My husband asked a waitress about our order and she rudely and dismissively replied "it'll be ready soon." Again, our order was RIGHT there the entire time and my husband stood there with our toddler while we were ignored blatantly. We were going to order more food but decided not to because of how we were treated. Sucks if the tamales are good because we will NOT...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDriven by this place 100 times and said "Man I have to try this place..." Well I finally did! What a great surprise! These guys have some amazing authentic food. I mean, I have only tried the tacos so far but will return to explore the other dishes. Its an extension of their retail store that offers a selection of items from Mexico as well as some other items. There are about 10 smaller tables to sit and eat but they also have a few tables outside as well under an awning. All of the tacos were amazing and very flavorful. They started with their house made chips and salsa. Then they bring out limes and pickled veggies to top your tacos or eat as a side. We had the chicken, chorizo, pastor and birria tacos and all of them exceeded my expectations! Rice and beans were better than most places and were a great compliment to the tacos. I will 1000% be back to try more dishes! GO!!! You will not regret it!
Went back again and tried the Chimichanga... that was amazing as well. I am going to assume its all going to rank up there in the very good to amazing rating! :-) See...

Glance at the fridge to find their bottled beverage flavors (they also sell them in the market!). The Tacos Locos are delicious! We had a little lime and bit of sour cream on the side, opted out of the cilantro on account of the BFs preference. Great flavors! The waitress brought 2 other bottles of salsa for us to use with our food, a verde and a dark chili. We shared the tamales dinner, and the red tamales were tender, seasoned wonderfully, and came out to us steaming hot! I would highly recommend you give their menu a try, I don't think you'd be disappointed with the variety. This place is a must-try if you like authentic Mexican food and are cool with super market casual dining. We will be going back...
