I was able to enjoy the GRAND OPENING of a place we have been waiting months for! Off the Tracks Cafe! And it was worth the wait!! I arrived there with my cousin and kids around 12:15pm and the place was packed!! Which was a good sign for a grand opening. Conveniently there were seating available for us, today we found a spot on the second floor designed for indoor seating. There are outdoor seating as well, outside the shop.
The establishment had very clear menus not only behind the counter, but in laminated form as well! The laminate menus were large but proportionate for easy reading. My cousin ordered the Cubano Sandwich, I ordered the Chicken Parm sandwich, and we grabbed some Loaded Tater Tots and some Lattes as well. The young man who took our order, my apologies for not catching his name, was very helpful, professional and easy to understand. He ensured that our requests were as we wanted and answered a question that I was unsure of, did they offer White Chocolate flavoring despite not seeing it advertised, and they did!!
We received our food and it was phenomenal!! Her Cubano sandwich was delightful and my chicken parm sandwich was outstanding. The size of the sandwiches were perfect, not too small and not too big. All of the ingredients were also proportionate. The right amount of each item. Nothing was underwhelming or overdone. The Loaded Tater tots were amazing. Again, a great size and very very tasty. We also enjoyed our lattes! We are glad there’s such an establishment not too far from where we live!
The atmosphere of Off the Tracks Cafe was very positive and very exciting. Everyone in that place, both employees and customers seemed very happy to be there. I look forward to returning here very soon and...
Read moreVisited Off The Tracks twice so far. Only went for breakfast but the breakfast sandwiches and wraps are very good. The first time I had a peppers and eggs wrap and it was really good. Filled with scrambled eggs peppers and cheese. The second time I had the pork roll egg and cheese on an English muffin. The muffin was large enough to hold the contents. It wasn't a cheap store bought English muffin like you get at the fast food restaurants. The coffee is really good. I'm a coffee geek and enjoy their prepared drinks and a good ol' cup of Joe. They use a quality coffee, I think I heard them say it was from Bucks County, but don't quote me on that. I've ordered a macchiato twice and it was spot on. Not like that sugary stuff from Wawa. The staff is nice and friendly. I think the process will go smoother as the business ages. The doughnuts, I have to mention the doughnuts. They are imported from Italy and are delicious. Definitely worth a try. It's a new place, just opened a week or two ago, so it can get really busy. But it's worth the wait. I've been there twice and will most likely be there again in the near future. I do want to try their lunch/dinner options next time. One last thing to mention is that there are a few tables upstairs and a couple tables outside. It's a small joint, so you may want to order out if you don't like your seating options. But, I definitely...
Read moreYou know this is really heartbreaking to write but after 5 visits here, I feel like I can give my honest opinion of this cafe, at least for morning visitors. My order is always made wrong(I've had 1 of 5 correct), the iced lattes never taste like they are from a professional coffee shop, service is the slowest I've ever seen in my entire life, always seems chaotic like the employees dont know or care what they are doing, with the exception of the gentleman who is usually up front no one smiles or makes you feel welcome. Its what i would call a hot mess. I really really hope it's just a first year of business issue and they get it together. The food tastes good but if everything else is a bad experience before you get it, is it even worth it. Id like to continue supporting my towns new cafe. I will only be mobile ordering for pickup from here on out and hope that management figures out these mess ups. It has great potential but mom and pop shops NEED to shine in small towns, start with service with a smile and...
