Arrived early on Easter Sunday for our reservation, as I was walking in the front door a man was coming out, he got in to his car and could hear him telling his wife "they are only taking customers with reservations". When I got to the hostess I informed her that we were early for our reservation and was wondering if we could get our table early and she said "would try but it would be a half hour, I said no problem, she said to have a seat at the bar. When I looked at the bar for a seat there was a "Reserved" table sign at every seat open, which looked very odd, plus there were multiple tables open. We decided to sit in the upper level Lounge area to wait for our table. I approached the bar to try and get some drinks while we waited. I caught the attention of a older short waitress at the opposite end of the bar and she did not seem happy that I was looking for service, she gave me a dirty look and said "what do you need, I said I wanted to get drinks, she immediately became very defensive and asked where is your table, I said we are waiting for our table. She immediately started yelling I don't have time, I'm to busy taking care of other customers and turned away, making a huge scene in front of customers sitting at the bar. After going back to the lounge area the same waitress started yelling across the room at the hostess, which could be heard through the hole restaurant. We felt sorry for the hostess she had everything under control. We just wanted to get a drink from the bar while we waited for our table. Even though they weren't very busy our food took over an hour, while getting the check I saw the older waitress taking the "Reserved" table signs in front of every bar seat down. No customers ever sat at the bar seats that were reserved, she was just trying to keep potential customers from sitting at the bar. I was blown away by her actions to go out of her way to drive away business. It's to bad, this place has a lot of potential, with a lot of hard working staff and...

This is the second time I have tried Cherry Creek on a Sunday! Hmmm. I have heard the lunch rushes here have long waits for the food, but each visit I have had during brunch had long wait times. Today we had a 7 top. We called yesterday and made reservations. At first everything seemed on track - drinks and appetizers. However, once we put our entree order in the experience fell to pieces. No follow up on beverage refills took place. Three four tops that came after us had their meals first. We order six egg based dishes and pancakes and one halibut sandwich. By the time we checked on our food and asked kindly for the pancakes for the two children in our group....one of those four tops had already left. I saw no manager table touching to check in with customers and staff...unless the bartender was the authority in the front of the house....if that was the case I saw no motivation to check on the floor experience. Over all I couldn't recommend this being a must stop for Waterloo dining. My experiences are several months apart and similar. It appears the restaurant lacks a mission statement or a philosophy that enhances the over all experience. I look forward to trying again in the future, but definitely not interested for a while. I would really love to hear better things about this place, and to experience...

We came here on a weeknight well past rush time & while only a few other tables occupied but it took forever to even get seated. The bartender came up to us after a while and told us that she would get the hostess. The hostess finally sat us by waving at a booth with a rude "I guess you can sit here"...no menus, silverware or even eye contact. Finally our waitress came out after over 30 min of waiting with still not so much as a drink menu. Her service is friendly at least but it takes about 30 minutes for her to check on us each time. So between drinks, ordering food, the food coming, waiting on the check, etc we were there for 3 hours for what should have been a 45 min meal. The food was good but expensive, especially for the small portions. The atmosphere was ok but you can tell they are trying to present themselves as higher class than they actually are. Charging more for food and roping off a couch doesn't in and of itself make a place classier. I'd choose normal speed service and decent portions every time. They also overcharged us on our drinks despite the drink menus being dirty and covered in multiple attempts at raising the prices already. Overall, you can find far better places to eat for this...

Nice, clean restaurant, but it has a bit of an identity problem. The decor is higher end, but the casual staff attire and huge TVs placed around the place threw me off. We were there on a busy Friday evening and expected a short wait - which we had. Once sat, we saw our server four times total - once to order drinks, once to order food, once to get our food and once to pay our bill. She didn’t check on us once after we got our food, ask if we’d like another drink, nor did she thank us or ask us how things were at the end. Not bad service, just mediocre and no personal touch. The menu had a nice selection. My husband ordered the Bada Bing Ribeye. Steak was prepared well but nothing special. I ordered the Margarita flatbread and it was also just fine. Our daughter enjoyed her turkey pesto sandwich and fries. A little pricey for mediocre food but not bad. Overall it’s decent if you are in the area, but won’t be a destination for us.

Came for a burger & fries, got what I wanted! This spot has a great U-shaped bar with ample seating & lots of tvs. The patio is huge with tables and couches. We sat inside b/c there was an harsh odor outside when we got out the car. Food: the cherry-Brie appetizer was lovely, the bread was beautifully toasted. It was a little salty. The fries were delicious and nicely cooked. The burger was good, cooked exactly how requested. The raw onions were a bit much. Atmosphere: love the seating options. From booths, to bar seating, to 4-person & 8-person tables, and couches; this place boasts options. Service: they were attentive and checked in. The opposite of what lots of reviewers shared! All in all, great spot for dinner.
