Greenhouse Kitchen Waterloo — Restaurant in Waterloo

Well, well, well.....what can I say? I went in here completely ignorant of the offerings other that the promise of healthy. Since healthy living has never been in my wheelhouse, I put my trust in the very friendly, (obviously used to dealing with potato-brained people) employee and asked her to give me whatever the best seller was, however she thought it should be made. My trust was well placed! I was so excited that I even got some sweet potato chips! I loved every morsel! High five for that chick! I was sure I'd just eaten the healthiest meal of my life! That compelled me to treat myself next door at Icon! I'm pretty sure if I sat my Bowl next to my donut I stayed within the good ol' 80/20 ratio so all in all, it was...

I was glad I tried this place out, although I do have a few complaints. The place was nice and clean inside and I felt the classic burrito was a good deal.

Unfortunately, the first few bites of my burrito were unweighted and lacked seasoning (this may not be the case with a different mix of ingredients). However, once I started eating more of it I got a good mix of the ingredients and it tasted really good!

Furthermore, there was a price increase for the steak burrito meat and that I was only notified about when I went to pay.

I definitely want to come back here and try...

I never was a fan of greenhouse when they first opened in cedar falls on the hill. After years of not eating it I decided to give it another chance. So I visited this location and the food was awesome. Because the food was so great I came back three times. Unfortunately, on my last visit I couldn’t get my meal because I wasn’t allowed to pay with a $100 bill.
