From the moment you step inside, you're reminded of the old school American Chinese restaurant, where it's very casual, place for locals to gather and hang out, eat and drink Mai tais. There aren't many of these spots around, so very happy there is one locally and it hits the spot. The owner is very friendly and everyone there seems to know her and she knew their names. This is a no frill place, hole in the wall, no windows.

There’s a certain curb appeal that comes from having no windows that more modern establishments are still struggling to grasp. Rick is the most gracious host/server/bartender, and I welcome any additional business in his direction even if it’s just to hear his genuine, “You’re welcome,” each and every time you politely thank him for something. When I got there nobody acknowledged me, I had to try more than once even to get anyone's attention. They have a full bar.
