Demos Watertown — Restaurant in Watertown

I placed an order online yesterday evening through “GrubHub” (pickup order). I ordered the Mousakka plate with a side Greek salad, also ordered a full size Greek salad. The quality of food in this location has gone downhill. Both Greek salads looked like a plate of lettuce only. Are you serious? When your craving a good quality Greek salad at least deliver quality to the customer. Absolutely disgusting to even sell that type of salad, put some effort into making a quality product.

The Moussaka plate was dry, and I have had many moussaka plates in the past of much better quality. I will not be returning to this location. I am a longtime Watertown resident and have never received a salad so poorly put together. Demo’s has been under new management so if that’s the case step up your game, and start giving good quality to the customer. I have always loved Demos years ago, but today’s quality has made me take my business elsewhere.

Demo’s is a Greek cuisine restaurant so not sure why the Greek quality is not there. The employees seem to not like their jobs as well. I just didn’t get the Greek quality vibe picking up my order. Ok, sent the hubby to pick up food while in town so I'm taking his word on service and atmosphere. First, French fries NEVER belong on a gyro...but I've learned Americans want what they want. (Gross) I ordered the gyro (tried to convince my hubby to get the kebab or souvlaki, b I t he didn't... shave on him because now I'm more than curious!). I have been craving a good gyro for 5 years now since movings to PA, so I knew what I wanted and was expecting to be greatly disappointed. However, I was NOT! OMG! I felt like I was back in Europe (minus the french fries i picked off)! The meat had the strong flavors from the seasoning and grill I had hoped for and the tzaziki... well, hell, I'd bathe in that stuff. There's never enough! I didn't physically go to the place but I ate their food (forgot to mention the humus was on point too) so I can't speak for atmosphere and frankly don't care. If your good is great and you but all but spit in my face, I'm good! Drove 5 hours to eat a good gyro and would be willing to rinse & repeat. Now.... how to convince hubby that I want this again for lunch...

very unfriendly and not professional staff. I work as a driver and often order food from this restaurant. When I go as a client, they talk normally. When they see the driver, they are treated disrespectfully. On Sunday, the guy from the restaurant tells me the order will be ready in 2 minutes. I wait 10 minutes, the order is not ready. I ask when the order will be ready, they will answer me that in 2 minutes. I say that you told me this 10 minutes ago, to which they answer me that if you don’t like it, don’t wait. First of all, I want to ask who are you that you communicate in such a tone with a person? Who gave you such a right? Don't respect drivers. I personally will tell all my friends so that they do not order anything in your restaurant, where people are not respected !!! And the rating makes it clear how you treat people. Never again will I go and order anything from this restaurant, and I will inform my friends and acquaintances...
