Have visited this place quite a few times now. Place is nice and clean with feel good factor. Overall, ambience is good. Food is little bit pricey but high quality. Chilli Momos are worth trying if you like spicy food. Bhancha set (traditional nepali Thali) is very delicious, especially the sarso saag in it. Have tried khaja set and that too is delicious. Chai can be improved a bit. Naans are pretty good. Paneer saag and Chicken dishes that have tried are also good. Highly recommend this place. Staff is very courteous. There was live music too at our recent visit and that was mostly melodious traditional music. Definitely a plus for a nice dine in experience. Adding some pictures, not the best pictures but food is good.

I had quite the experience having this meal as it was my first dining experience back in New England and everything was perfect: A) the curry has possibly the finest balance of spices of any I’ve had along with the texture - just phenomenal B) the garlic naan was perfect as well but I did ask for tamarind sauce on the side (which was just excellent and paired exactly well with the bread and curry) C) The dessert that I had was exquisite as well with the subtle hint of lemon zest really kicking it up. Finally D) the chai tea I had was perfect and a modest way to end a great day, modest but balanced. Would recommend Chulo’s one thousand times over - I wish there was a location in Texas!

WOW! Food was really good. Actually, no it was really great! What I like about Chulo is they don't try, at all, to make their food "americanized" and fit our pallettes. They stay true to their roots and it shines. We had the goat set, veg set and veg momo.... All were a 10 out of 10. We also each had a Himalayan mojito, strong and gigantic. It's like a Nepalese dive bar with top end food. Haha! They make everything here, everything. Dough for the momo, spice mixes for the curries, puffed rice for the dessert. We were lucky enough to be here while there was live Nepalese music, it was a really good performance. Can't wait to go back, don't hesitate to try Chulo.

Ahh, Chulo! Thank you for serving us delicious food, time and again. This review is long overdue. Every time I decide to sit and write this review, I think of the food and I'm off to have it.

Food-wise, EVERYTHING we've tried has been a big hit. The royal khaja set comes with chicken choila and different veggies. Every single item is unique and has a distinct flavor (some can be spicy too). The only thing we probably didn't enjoy so much was the beaten rice. It can be slightly tough to chew. Through the khaja set, we discovered the badaam sadeko. It is a "salad" (quotes because it is not your typical salad with greens) with peanuts, so crunchy and the lime dressing is tangy and tasty. Now coming to the star of the show - the chicken momos! Oh wow - that chicken is seasoned well. The outer momo covering is paper thin which means it does not overpower the dish. You get two dipping sauces - both complement the momos. We've also tried the veggie momos. They're not supposed to be spicy but sometimes they can be - I believe they put minced chilies in the veggie mix. And finally a masala chai. It might not be on their menu but chai with those succulent momos is a good combination. Another app, aloo sadeko, while tasty is a cold app (the menu does not indicate it's cold). It was so cold that there was a small piece of ice in it. I do love the masala of the app, wish they served it hot or at least at room temperature.

The ambiance is always peaceful and relaxing including the artwork on the walls. Some nights they also have live music. The service is attentive and always with a smile. The food comes out quick. How does it get any better than this? :)

Chulo is on the second floor of a building and does not have a large board outside advertising its location. It may be a little hard to notice but it's definitely there! And you'll be...

I would like to give -ve stars/points if i can. One of worst restaurant i ever visited. I just saw the rating online and thought it is 4.5 so should be good so took my colleagues here for Weekday lunch. No customer were there, we were the only one, group of 5. Had to wait 5min for someone to come out from kitchen to be seated. Then for taking order, he came after 20min. we ordered malai kofta, naan, mango lassi, fried momos. Food came after 25 min from order. taste was so bad that literally felt like what we were eating, naan were frozen and sabji was no taste at all. Then thought of trying out dal so we were calling the guy to come out from kitchen and take our order but had to go literally in the kitchen n call him, then he was like " you should have ordered earlier as i am busy" - still ordered the dal and to no surprise dal was worst too. Overall nothing was good in this restaurant, Now I am checking the reviews and i see that only Non-indian people has given good rating and indian people has mentioned the reality as they know what indian/nepali food taste. Don't go in this restaurant and...

Great Service from the moment we stepped in. It seemed they care for the food they serve and how they serve. The appetizers came out fast and although I was not entirely in a mood to order anything Indian I did end up getting the Daal Makhani. It pains me to see reddish Dal Makhani getting served which also has cream in it. I wish I can return just by looking at it that it's soooooo WRONG to put cream in it. 1.5 star taken out for otherwise tasty Nepali food.

The Kwati Soup was awesome and is a perfect comfort food to have esp when the weather is a bit chilly. The thali was great with all the items being tasty (the dal was what i thought will be served when I ordered dal makhani - maybe I got overly excited and then got disappointed.)

Ok I restore back half a star and make it a solid 4

There seems to be a stage for live performances and will definitely try to figure that out : The whats and the whens.

Will I make a trip to eat food? Nahhhh (maybe for the live music? Dunno)

Will I be back if am in the area? Always yes if am hungry...
