Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Watertown

I placed an order for the family sized pizza, and asked the young lady on the phone if it has a discount price on Tue. She proceeded to ask the person she said was her manager. She came back to the phone to say they told her it would be $13 per pizza, so I placed an order for 3. However, when my son went to pick up, they told him that there wasn't a discount on family sized pizzas, only large, and that family sized were $23 each for our selection. He took 2 (we're on a budget because...), and sometimes neither he nor I can cook of an evening. The discrepancy in the quote between the one on the phone and when he got there really made me upset. The one pizza would be dinner for him and me the rest of the week, and the 2nd for his kids coming over on the weekend. The 3rd would've been an emergency meal if I got too sick to cook, which happens when the weather turns. Not gonna trust PM again...

Today we had ordered our pizzas but because we didn't verbally say select pizzas the deal was not given to us. So we were charged full price. I didn't know I had to tell them that I wanted the deal/specials price. Don't advertise it if you don't give it! Also I asked for half the sauce so when we asked why the deal was not given we were told that as an excuse as well that because it was modified.... to less, not more the offer didn't stand. When calling to ask what happened the person working did not offer to fix, get a manger nor help any further. Instead we received two excuses that neither of them made sense. We spent we spent $27.43 on two single topping thin crust pizzas with half the sauce. The special price was supposed to be $8.99...

Ordered online and arrived early since I was just down the road. I walked in, told them who I was and that I was early. Instead of "okay, we'll let you know when it's ready", I got "It's not ready. It takes 10-15 minutes for us to get orders when you order online ". So I sat down and waited. At 5 mins past the time it said it'd be done, I walked up to the counter and they pulled my pizza off the rack....where it had been sitting for who knows how long.

I didn't say anything. What good would it do when it looked like everyone was stressed out as it was. This isn't normally the way it is but it could have been handled better.
