So I came in here on Saturday because I was working on homework the night before and I noticed that my battery was running low so I decided to call it a night plugged in my computer went to bed. When I woke up the next morning I realized that my laptop did not charge at all. I thought it might be the cord and I took out one of the newer cords that I had bought. However my computer still did not charge and so I contacted my sisters husband who specializes in computers and I asked him for any advice on how to restart my computer. He gave me several tips to try and I did use all of them but nothing was working. I was originally going to go to Best Buy geek squad to have my computer looked at but somebody recommended the computer place in town so I decided to give it a try. When I came in I initially didn’t know it was closed but Giles saw me and let me come in. I explain the situation and he asked if it was okay to run some tests on my computer to which I said absolutely. We tested the charger to make sure it wasn’t it and the charger showed good. We then decided to move one l, deciding if it was one of a few things. Either it was a bad battery, the motherboard had to be hard reset, or my laptop was dead. When he took out the battery and tested it, he told me my computer came back on meaning it probably needed a hard restart. To make sure when he was correct and the battery wasn’t bad, he put the back in the battery and sure enough it came on. My laptop was also missing several screws which he replaced and in the end he did not charge me. He was absolutely fabulous to work with and we even talked about him working in the local school district which is where I want to work when I get my degree. He was super friendly, nice, and professional. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone anytime and will be coming...

Had a quote in hand for a new desktop replacement from the business I had been working with for over 15 years in the Waukesha area. With Covid, prices for new machines and new gear is quite high. Previous business never brought up options beyond full replacement. Talked with Giles at Badgerland and we worked up many options with various price points. Thanks Giles for your patience! With cost in mind, we upgraded my 7 year old machine to Windows 10, solved my immediate fan problem, and increased my RAM and storage capacity. My machine should be good-to-go for quite some time. Read moreThis business impresses me. I walked in today because my daughter's Chromebook was having issues. They asked a couple questions, we discovered the Chromebook was DOA. So sad news. But still a good experience. Why? One, they helped me figure this out without any big spend. Actually without any. Two, they offered to take the Chromebook and dispose of it including the wipe free of charge. Three, they had a good display of refurbished PC's I was able to browse.
