Ok people. If you haven't gotten C.J's BBQ & Soul Food Catering yet, you are MISSING OUT! This is hands down some of the best food I've ever had. My very picky 15 year old ate every bite including his leftovers of pulled pork & Mac n cheese. Happy Dance Good!!! Food we ordered and I tried a bit of everything. Catfish (reminds me of being a kid. Very happy soul here), hush puppies, smoked Mac n cheese, pulled pork, smoked brisket... I can't even Seriously, we're still thinking about it after we fought for left overs last night. (No left over catfish, that was GONE!!! Heard about this on the Lebanon FB Page. This gem is hidden in a unique little mall setting. You enjoy artwork of a local artist doing art of Watertown. Once you find this niche, the aroma lures you in... Is nice but a very basic establishment. Staff is perhaps mostly family, and very friendly. Very helpful in the selection. Menu is just right. Many options, but not excessive. Now. Let's get to the meat of this review... THE BRISKET IS NEXT TO AMAZING. CATFISH LIKE YOU NEVER TASTED CATFISH IN YOUR LIFE. There was a group of 4 of us. We spent about $149.00 for the 4 of us but we got 6 dinner. Anyway, the food was excellent.The ribs were a little tough but being somebody that cooks, I could tell if we would have eaten them a little later in the day they would of been fabulous. Do not like fish at all. But I tried the catfish and it was excellent, it reminded me of eating fish down south. The owner was very friendly and accommodating to our group. I definitely feel like it is worth the trip. Is catfish, jerked chicken, ribs, brisket, pull pork, rib bits, fried okra, mac&cheese collar greens, corn bread, is cowboy beans.
