Food is always great, I was a regular customer but the manager ruined that today. I always order through doordash as I am disabled and unable to drive. I only eat tahini sauce with the meals, which they have but do not have listed on doordash. Nor do they allow you to put notes. I always place my order and immediately call them to make sure they make it right. Usually a sweet lady answers and knows the drill. This time it took 10 minutes to successfully call them after placing my order. This time a man answered. He immediately got an attitude and tried to go back and forth with me about remaking my food correctly. He ended the call saying order it correctly next time please. I was shocked at the interaction and called back to ask for a manager. Unfortunately, he was the manager(pathetic). I explained to him that he was very rude and that it literally wasn’t possible to order tahini sauce because they don’t even have it listed on the app and don’t let you put notes. He went on talking about how he wasn’t rude, how much money remaking the order costed them, and how I should’ve ordered correctly. Obviously he isn’t that bright. Never eating here again and that guy isn’t fit for any customer service based job. TERRIBLE!
Update; Since you didn’t acknowledge it, I’ll reiterate again that the man was extremely RUDE. It was not the case of a busy restaurant, the man informed me he had been trying to answer and saying hello but your phone system was messing up. There is NOT an option to put notes on orders from your restaurant on doordash per the literal screenshot attached to this review that you apparently ignored. Your response failed to take accountability or apologize so I will NOT be giving it...
Read moreThis is a family owned and ran business AND Halal! Those two things alone had myself and all of my group of multicultural sisters rushing over to check the place out! The menu has something for everyone. We each ordered something different so that we could sample everything. Seafood, shawarma, mini pitas, chicken tenders, fries etc. Etc., there were ZERO complaints and many compliments. My favorite was the gyro fries. Don't skip out on the sauces! Pita is officially approved by the Athens Muslimah Group (Sengalese, Moroccan, Nigerian, Sudanese, American, Vietnamese+more)
I would also like to add, there is one bad review in regard to the seasoning of the foods...but after looking at the other reviews from the individual who left it-it seems that he has left poor reviews of EVERY locally owned Mediterranean-styled restaurant... maybe he doesn't realize that he just doesn't like this style of food?
The family had their son helping run the register. He was very well articulated, patient, ready to offer suggestions and to make accommodations and is a prime example of an outstanding young entrepreneur. It was an honor to have my hard earned money go to the future of such an amazing young man!
Can't wait to return and try something new! Thank you for making our ladies' day out an...
Read moreToday was my third time grabbing lunch while at work at this place. Each time I’ve been greeted with a smile and kindness by the owner. Very nice friendly guy with a warm smile. I absolutely love the gyro fries and am a heavy dipper so got the an extra side of sauce today. It came out hot and fresh and faster than normal since it wasn’t to busy today due to it being a Sunday and the rainy weather. The boy who handed me my order who I’m assuming is the owners son, is so sweet and polite. They’re raising a great kid who’s going to grow into a respectable gentleman. I find it great when a family works together in a family business. Thanks for being my go to when I’m too lazy to pack my lunch! And the prices are very...
