We had a pretty exceptional experience at this Golden Pantry Market. I’ve never been in one before but the convenience store plus fresh food concept really works and the staff were very nice here. We dropped in with a group of about 10 teenagers during a festival weekend in Athens and they were able to make things like cheese steaks and burgers for the kids plus freezie drinks for everyone and snacks for later! I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely stop in again if I needed some decent eats in a hurry.

The staff pleasantly, without grousing about the time - provided us with our desires. What can I say great food, great people and the first edition of The Chicopee Times by Elsa Beskow. Add THE best coffee in Athens; mix it with sunshine ahhh. Please start supporting local.

This is the nicest store I have ever seen it's way nicer than Racetrack. They have a full deli and make food to order. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. I recommend the grit bowl for breakfast.

What a great experience. My girlfriend recently broke her ankle and it was taking us longer to get there, so I called and asked if they had biscuits. They did and ensured (without even knowing if we were coming) that four biscuits were saved for us! Jenn and a kind man behind the counter were extremely kind and friendly and the egg, bacon and cheese biscuits were very yummy. I had no idea a Golden Pantry could be so suited for eating a biscuit...
