Had a really bad experience here for the second time. I was hoping our first experience was a fluke and decided to give this business another try, only to have a worse experience. The customer service was awful. I was yelled at when I very calmly and politely questioned why my daughter was receiving a different service than the one I requested when I checked her in. This is the second time this happened (a different service given than was initially requested) so I was very specific in what she wanted done and asked for the price upfront, only to have the same thing happen again. Then as I was paying, the same employee went over to yell at my 14 year old daughter about my question while a group of employees surrounded my daughter. When I went to intervene and ask her not to yell at my daughter and express that her behavior towards a minor was unacceptable, she began to film me with her phone. I asked her if she was filming me and if so to please stop. I also asked to speak to the owner or manager of the business only to be told they were not there and that I could send an email to the business. I also asked for the employee’s name to include in my email to the business, which they refused to provide. The whole situation left me feeling upset and very uncomfortable about what had transpired. Bad customer service and yelling at me I can handle, but for adult employees to treat a child that way seems very questionable and cause for concern. I will never use this nail salon again.

I had high hopes coming into this nail salon, as my mother had recommended it. Though her last experience had been a little rough but we chalked it up to a bad day and figured we'd have a good experience this time. I was so very wrong. We made one appointment for a manicure and pedicure and another for just a manicure. When we arrive the place was packed so we didn't think much of the confusion and lack of customer service at the front desk. They were overwhelmed. After being sat at a table I spent 30 minutes being ignored, but again it was busy not the end of the world. I however became increasingly frustrated as the tech who did my nails (Dan) rushed through it. He did not even bothering to paint my entire nail, leaving unpainted sections along the sides. Being busy is not an excuse for doing a poor job. I was so over the entire thing I did not say anything to him because I just wanted to leave. Unfortunately we had to wait because the same tech did both my mother's nails and toes, despite the salon having cleared out and multiple techs just hanging out. We received an apology from the woman working the counter but it was far too late and I just want to get out of there. Poor service from the tech, coupled with a poor outcome does not leave a good taste in ones mouth. Overall I'm highly dissatisfied with the whole experience and will not be returning.

This was my first experience at this salon as I recently moved close to the watkinsville location. I asked for a fill in and shaping. I have gotten my nails done regularly for years and know what that process should feel and look like. I saw a technician that was in a rush from the moment I sat down. He made me bleed on two different fingers. I let him know and he continued to drill and file and work over the spots I showed him. I tried to be very polite in communicating that I was uncomfortable with those nails that had been injured. I finally had to tell him not to touch one of my nails with a file again because it hurt so much. (You can see redness on multiple nails pictured) There was not a moment I could relax because I was in pain for most of the process. I allowed two stars because my nails did look good at the end, and the salon was clean. However, it’s been years since a technician made me bleed (or hurt) since getting my nails done regularly. I came home and took an ibuprofen because my nails continued to hurt after I left. At the end of the day getting your nails done is a luxury service, and this salon did not provide a luxury experience.

I have been a loyal customer here for YEARS, coming every two weeks faithfully. I even followed these workers here from the Athens location. However, today, was my last time here as I am extremely disappointed in the state of this salon right now.

In the last 3-6 months, the prices have gone up an extreme amount, like everything else has in America, so we were able to look past that. What we are not able to look past, however, is the level of service that has significantly decreased over the last few months. The men rush your pedicures, some of them don’t know how to shape your nails, and two weeks ago during my pedicure the lady dug SO deep into the side of my toe that I couldn’t even apply pressure on the foot to walk for two days afterwards.

With that being said, a tip is something that is earned, and the service that we have received over the last few months has not been tip worthy - ESPECIALLY not today’s experience. Now, my usual technician, Lucy, is on maternity leave, so I’ve been floating around between different techs, not necessarily happy with the result of any of them. However, after the experience we had two weeks ago, we decided to make appointments with specific techs because Jenny completely botched my nails last time (and didn’t get a tip). When we get there, we are ignored for 30 minutes. When we finally sit down, none of us have any of the people we’ve requested, due to “no receptionist” being there. They send Jenny over to me again. I told her I had an appointment with Alice. She tells me Alice is very busy and canceled my appointment. When was that going to be communicated to me? I ultimately decided not to get my nails done because I did not want her to do them. My mom had an appointment with Q and my sister had an appointment with Raymond.

Alice convinced me to let her sister, Annie, do my nails which was fine. I appreciated her attempting to remedy the situation. Annie did a great job. My sister had Raymond and was satisfied as well. My mom decided not to get her nails done because Q couldn’t do them. However, it wasn’t that Q couldn’t do them, it was said to us that Q did not WANT to do her nails because she did not tip. With that attitude, WHO WOULD TIP?? Furthermore, if I’m paying $80-$90 for nails I should be satisfied with those nails. That is a nearly 30% increase from what I was paying just six months ago.

I am disappointed in the level of customer service and lack of professionalism and will NOT be back. My advice to the owner, Jaden - you may want to get back in there ASAP before your employees run your business in the ground. There needs to be some SERIOUS TRAINING so that all employees deliver the same level of service we were receiving 6 months to a year ago, and therefore earn their tips - if that’s what they really want. As for me, however, I will NEVER leave a tip for bad service. And I will NEVER step foot in this...

EDIT: the price listed under my name is per person Went again the Tuesday after Mother’s Day. Took my mother-in-law for her first time there, and me and my daughter who have been getting our nails done for over six years regularly, including this salon since they opened. This was a terrible terrible experience. Not only where we overcharged for everything but they were extremely rude the entire time we were there like we were inconveniencing them. We did come in an hour and a half before closing for three manicures and pedicures. But if they couldn’t accommodate us, all they had to do was say so. Instead of treating us like crap the entire time we were there, especially with the outrageous prices they charge. The only nice person out of the entire group was the one doing my mother-in-law‘s manicure. Way more expensive than any other nail salon around here for mediocre service. We probably won’t be returning this time. After multiple tries and it just gets worse, I think I’ll spend less elsewhere for the same result.

Our first time was amazing! I was so excited to have a good quality nail salon close to home FINALLY! Our second time was not a great experience. My daughter and I have been getting our nails done together every couple of weeks since she was in the six grade, and she is now a sophomore in high school. The nail technician kept telling her to stop moving, when she wasn’t even moving at all. She’s not new to getting her nails done. And these were for homecoming so she wanted them perfect. They didn’t ask her if she wanted them shortened which most nail salons do and she forgot to tell them. Before any color or anything was put on we realize this and asked them to be shortened and they said it was too late. Yes they would’ve had to reshape them a little bit but they could’ve shorten the nails. You could tell I was a little bit irritated by this point, but we were still completely respectful of the technicians as I realize their jobs can be difficult. But then charged me and her both extra just because of his irritation I guess. I’m hesitant to come back because this is a time for me and her to spend together and relax. And this last time did not leave us feeling relaxed. It actually made us stressed because she had these extremely long nails that she was gonna have to deal with for two weeks. We ended up having to go to another salon and get them shortened. The salon we typically use. I was very sad about the...

I called on 5/19 at 12:00pm and asked if my nail tech would be available today. I was told she would be there at 3 and I asked if I could make an appointment. The lady said yes I made an appt for 3pm. I got a call at 2:48pm when I was already on my way saying she was running late and wouldn’t be there till about 3:30, obviously this is not ideal but I said as long as someone can soak my nails off so I would be ready for her at 3:30 that would be fine. I have plans and only planned on being there till 4:15pm the latest, which is about how long it usually takes. I get there at 3:02pm and the tech is working on someone else. At 3:17 I asked if someone is available to start soaking off my nails. I was still waiting at 3:48pm. I just asked them to finish removing my nails because obviously I wouldn’t be able to get what I needed in time. I understand running late 15 minutes but almost an hour when an appointment was made is unfortunate. If I make an appointment I try my best to be on time and be respectful of others time. I completely understand things happen but why make appointments if you’re not able to honor them? And why start someone else’s nails if you know you have an appointment and won’t be done in time for your appointment? If I had 2/3 hours to hang out and wait I wouldn’t have made an appointment. I’ve been going to the downtown location since they’ve opened and started coming to wire park because some of the techs I like are there also. This has never been an issue. Edit: The pregnant lady at the front seemingly had an attitude, when I walked in I signed in stood there for a few minutes and no one came up so I picked out my color and went back to front where she just waved me to sit down without saying a word, she was very short and seemed annoyed when I asked if someone was available to start taking my nails off and in the 50 plus minutes I waited not once even apologized for the wait or gave an update on how much longer it would be. I think her overall attitude made the...
