Been here twice over the past few months after being told about it for many years. First time, I had the fried fish plate. It was alright. Fish was IMO overly dry and over cooked. Also, really bland. The second time, I went to order a takeout regular chicken burrito, and they said it's only the chicken and flour tortilla. What?? Read moreI'm actually surprised this place had "great" reviews (usually Google reviews are spot on). Upon arrival the place was empty. No actual introductions; lady behind the bar said we can sit wherever. Although the place is remotely empty service was slow (took 5 minutes for an order to be placed and another 15 for food) again empty restaurant. Chips were stale and salsa was watered down. I ordered a chilaquiles. The sauce used almost tasted like pizza sauce some sort of tomato based sauce but very watery consistency. The sauce was also salty which indicates a possible preservation attempt. Rice was okay but no real taste same goes for the refried beans. While the plating (presentation) was great the overall taste, texture and ambiance was of this place was a sure fail. Save your money and go...
