Scornovacca's Waukee — Restaurant in Waukee

This was the most disappointing ordering and pickup process ever. I'd leave zero stars but not possible. I wanted to cheer a family member up after a horrible day and bring her dinner. She requested this place. It was the one thing that I could actually do in the given situation. Wrong. Ordered it and when I went to pick up only half was done. Even though it was past the listed pick up time. The ladies in the back kept opening the warmer door acting seriously confused. The lady in the front kept taking the ticket back there. Im assuming to show them what was still missing. It was obvious they didnt understand the order. Wasn't even trying to understand the order. Sat there for 20 minutes watching this go on. Finally after that I just asked for a refund. The half of the order that was actually done was getting old and cold just sitting there. It was literally almost an hour after ordering. AN HOUR. And it wasn't even busy. At all. God only knows how long I would of sat there for the other half of the order. Probably another hour considering the girls in the kitchen was too busy running around confused. The only highlight was at least the girl in the front was super friendly and very apologetic. Would recommend to avoid this place if u want to actually eat food the same...

We have been enjoying Scorno's Pizza for 34 years and are so glad there is a location on the west side of Des Moines. A week after you opened, we decided to enjoy our date night at Snornovacca's in Waukee. After counting 14 people waiting in line to pick up their pizza order, we got the last table inside the restaurant and waited an hour for our pizza. Meanwhile we enjoyed a salad and enjoyed talking to each other and another couple at a nearby table. We understand that many people want your delicious pizza and your ovens couldn't keep up with the orders. However, I have a suggestion: When we left the restaurant our vehicle was parked in front of the Pizza Hut a few doors down. There was only one person in their restaurant. Maybe you can work out a deal with Pizza Hut to use their ovens because no one will want Pizza Hut when Scornovacca's is a much...

I was picking up a DoorDash and it was very busy at the time. A lot of people were in the lobby waiting for pizzas. I waited 45 min to be told they no longer knew where my order went. Unfortunately, it’s the people up front that take the heat and it isn’t their fault. The girl up front was obviously stressed and needed help. However, I had to explain two to customers over the phone, that I could not pick up there order because it was lost. I personally lost money and my time was taken when I waited for my orders that never were made. I asked the lady up front if there was anything she could do to make up for my time and money and all I was offered was a cookie. I was upset but took it and left. I left with a cookie and lost $35.
