I'm not sure what is going on lately but it seems the new Waupun Dunkin' is just slowly going downhill and I know I'm not the only one who thinks so. I sure do miss the old/original crew that came when they moved locations. Since then, just about every time we stop, there is always an issue. This used to be our favorite/daily stop but I think we will be going elsewhere from now on. The new location itself started out nice but they seem to have an issue keeping it clean & serving it's customers. From the dining area to the bathrooms, for such a small area I wouldn't think it wouldn't be that hard to keep clean if the employees were indeed taking the time to properly clean it every day. Sticky floors, dirty tables, food slung on some of the walls and other surfaces. It's a food establishment, so it's bound to get a little dirty but when you've visited multiple times and it looks like same, then you know it's not really being cleaned. Aside from that, the last several times we have gone through, our drinks are either made wrong or we were missing items. Multiple times we've ordered food that wasn't even toasted, it was just wrapped and given cold. Every single visit it's something. A couple times I called to nicely let them know, and I still have items I'm owed but at this point, I think we are just done. This last time we visited, the lobby was empty and there were 1-2 cars in the drive thru at most. We waited as they attended to the drive thru. I said it wasn't a problem. Our order was finally started, another car came through the drive thru and a couple came in behind us. Well... They took care of the drive thru orders, took care of the couple behind us and we were left sitting as they continued other orders. The first time I nicely checked in, they claimed they were making new coffee, although the person they already served BEHIND me had the same drink...which was served...waited longer. We got our order but in bits and pieces with in about a 20-30 minute wait, watching others get saved and being taken care of via drive thru & walk in. (We only had 2 drinks, 1 donut, 2 food items). I had to go up several times to ask about what we ordered and it was "we'll have it shortly", as they filled others orders AFTER ours. After around 20-25 minutes of waiting for my last item and watching an employee clear the screen, walk around and grab his Domino's Pizza order,.. I again asked about the rest of my food for my order. He said it was still coming (he hadn't made it). Like a minute later he slid it across the counter.. the food was still cold and at that point I was just done. I ate it and we got ready to go. A lady came in just wanting a donut, stood around a bit and just left because she wasn't being acknowledged or served. The sad thing was, they weren't really busy. I'm not sure if the establishment is just having all of their friends leave positive reviews, but I just want to state that I am just a previous loyal customer. According to what I wrote a year ago, I came to the Waupun location and ordered a croissant and got a bagel, the bagel was good so there was no problem but this is getting ridiculous. Another time before the review above I ordered a latte and got a black coffee instead. By the time I noticed, I was already on my way to Fond-du-Lac and couldn't turn around, they offered to replace it so I didn't leave a review because it wasn't a big deal. However, today I came in and ordered TWO bacon egg and cheese bagels, my fiance wanted a B.E.C. bagel but he wanted to substitute for the maple bacon, the girl suggested we do the maple bacon sandwich but on a bagel instead of the croissant which would save us money or be easier on them, whatever the reason, we agreed. Something was up with the register (she said it was set on a refund transaction so she needed a coworker to put fix it so she can do the order) and when it was fixed she rang in a the order again and even read it back to us, I confirmed it was correct and when we got home we were distributing the food and guess what? Instead of the bagel this time, my fiance got the croissant, this was after he tried to order it one way but she insisted we do it her way. Read moreI would like to start this off by saying that the food and drink I ordered was excellent. The resturant was clean and we were in & out very quickly. The reason why I'm only giving 3 stars is because the lady who made my latte forgot the whip cream, which was no big deal, I simply let her know and expected her to just fix it, which she did but she also had a big attitude about it && very rudely said, "I DIDN'T SEE IT ON THERE." and then proceeded to tell her co- workers, "This is why I never work up here." She was repeatedly and quite loudly making comments about how "Whip cream wasn't written on it," and about how she doesn't like working up front for that reason. This had me very embarrassed so I stood in the corner by the window because other customers were staring at me. I don't know her name but it was at about 9 am today and she had a headset on. I wasn't rude and didn't have an attitude I just simply told her that it was supposed to have whipped cream and I even apologized for bringing it to her attention because I felt like a burden.
