I have contacted the corporate office 6 times regarding my visit on May 28 2024. My husband and I went into this location in Wauwatosa WI on the way to see our grandbaby at childrens hospital. My daughter had sent me there orders via text. He had been in the hospital for the past 4 days. When we got to Qdobas we were the ONLY people in there and a young girl who appeared to be training. She looks at another woman like help me. The woman came over and said what do you want? The woman had tattoos all over her face (not that that mattered) but she wouldnt give me her name so I have to call her tattoo faced woman. I was getting the order off my phone and she said come on, hurry up. She shouted at me to get off my phone. I explained that the order was text to me. I asked for 1 large and a mini bowl, I asked for pico de gallo and she said what is that? Some guy from the back yelled something and she said they dont have that. She threw the two bowls together, (they looked horrible) my husband asked for a steak burrito. She acted like we were bothering her. I said to my husband lets go. He said no we promised Mason (grandbaby) we would bring him this. She walked away and started helping someone else. I said excuse me I would like another burrito and she said just leave and pointed at the door. At which time my husband said come on just make the burrito. She threw it together and I am glad I could watch her because I wouldnt have trusted her to not spit on my food. this woman was vile. I asked to speak to the manager and tattoo face said she was the manager. I asked her what her name was and she said I wont and dont have to give my name. When finally at the register and there was a long line because of her rudeness, I asked for the chips and she the bowls dont get chips I said then take it off your sign. She gave me about 10 chips. As my husband and I left there were customers walking out and telling us that they couldnt believe that woman. I sent in a picture of my food and a copy of my receipt with my original complaint on May 30th. I sent a complaint 5/30, June 3rd, June 25th, July 23rd, August 10th and the last one August 29th.. I have received 5 responses all with apologies and a promise of free meal coupons from RenzJ and Jason within 7 to 10 days and the last one Melony with a promise that if I opened an account she would load the meals into the account. I have NEVER received any coupons and there was nothing put into my account. The last response was we are looking into the complaint. This establishment does not care about their paying customers. If this woman is management she needs some training. We all have bad days but dont take it out on the people who pay your bills. Your there to give customer service. I tried to contact the store directly and nobody answers the phone. I wanted to give Qdoba the chance to make good on this horrific ordeal and of course Qdoba doesnt care. Why send out an email with promises and dont follow through. I know that most of them are owned privately, we visit the one in New Berlin and they are wonderful. If you want awesome service dont go to Wauwatosa. Qdoba do right by your...
Read moreUnfortunately I’ve had two different experiences with the manager at this location. I don’t even leave google reviews but after the second time of what appeared to be racist energy I had to leave a review.
1st encounter was from my nephew who interviewed here from this same male manager who was just meeting my nephew for the first time and during the interview explains how he does not want drama in the establishment while also offering a very poor pay rate for an 18 year old male with experience, as if he deserves pennies and would bring drama because he is a young African American male. My nephew explained how unpleasant he felt during this interview process and he could tell he was not wanted.
My personal encounter just occurred today, I walked in the establishment to place an order and the same male manager was on the front line, looks up at me gives me a very dry “hey”and continues to do whatever he is doing. Im the ONLY customer in the store and have to sit in awkward silence waiting for him to take my order or even give a simple “ I’ll be right with you” or anything would have been proper customer service. The encounter was NOT pleasant and after literally standing in from of him for a very awkward moment without any regards to my presence I finally just walked away and left the restaurant. AGAIN the same UNPLEASANT UNWANTED EXPERIENCE MY NEPHEW HAD ENCOUNTERED FROM HIM BEFORE. I’ve been in Tosa all my life and enjoyed this establishment as a teenager, but who ever this manager is, truly needs some more education in proper customer service etiquette. I will not be returning to this location again. I would hate to look into this establishment more and find more issues with the customer service of the African American customers as well as why I never see African American staff...
Read moreLast time I got food from here it was via DoorDash, and it wasn’t the best. I made of the mistake of thinking if I went in to order it would be better, I was wrong, worst service and food ever! Walked in and place wasn’t busy at all. Two people waiting for app orders and no one in line. Stood there 5 minutes before someone acknowledged me, only to tell me it would be a minute. I then proceeded to order and guy was half listening to me and half talking to other workers. I told him queso on 1 burrito and he put it on both, when I told him he said he didn’t hear me and (although he seemed put out) he offered to start over. I was annoyed but didn’t want to go through the trouble. I then finished telling him ingredients and as he continued to make burritos, 2 other employees proceeded to reach over him and my FOOD as they were making bowls for other customers. He then rolled our burritos in the most unappetizing way I’ve ever seen. So much so that the “lead” or “manager” made a comment about it. It took forever to ring me up and then I was half way home before realizing that the sides of salsas I requested weren’t in the bag. I turned around and as I walked in, the chick with braids looked up and laughed in my face, whispered something to the co worker who was reaching over my burritos previously, and went back to what they were doing. The original guy who made my food asked what I needed. I told him about salsa missing , he haphazardly put it in containers, and said “sorry”. The manager/lead guy was right at the register, heard the whole thing, and said nothing. Food was cold, and tasted meh. No need to ever go back to this location, definitely a waste of...
