Today I was treated very rudely by a male barista. I asked, on the phone if someone could bring to the door my online order. I have done this before with no issue. He told me I could hook my dog too the things provided cement thing with hook. Also, not heavy enough to hold back a medium dog. See photo) outside. I said I was uncomfortable with this and know of people who have had dogs taken. Plus, I thought it is illegal to leave dogs unattended in public.
He brought out tea, no pup cup or water. When I nicely asked for these items, he said next time I need to come in to pick up my things. I said, Them I will need to go to Fiddleheads (coffeeshop that has a dog window). A woman walking in overheard what he said and asked if she could get it for me. She apparently felt uncomfortable with his actions toward me.
When the employee came back with the two items, he handed them to me and said with a big grin and mocking tone, "I hope you enjoy, Fiddleheads." And then he turned and walked in the door. He know I couldn't come in to follow up and no one answered the phone after for me to talk to manager.
This was rude and uncalled for. Two weeks ago the guy that answered the phone at the same Starbucks came out, petted my dog and after I thanked him, said, "Anytime, don't worry about it."
The other workers inside are always very friendly. Unfortunately, I will not use this Starbucks again, that's too this employee's rude comment. We now have choices. I will choose to use...
Read moreExtremely disappointed with the way staff would not allow my son to purchase a drink and food inside because of his tank top. To add to this an employee came out side and put my son only coverage away from the down pour. The employees comment has to my 12 year old son was completely unnecessary, " I'm taking your only protection" and put down the umbrella he was able to stand under. Seriously! I am a business own and this is extremely unnecessary! You can check out "perks" account he has, sadly spent over $400 this school year alone! Oh none of you children are NEVER treated this way. He nor I will no long patronize your establishment unless management apologies for their complete disregard for children.
He needed shelter from 10 mins while I packed his 7 month old brother up. Shame on you for not only kicking him out and not allowing him to purchase anything, and then directly adding insult by not allowing the use of an umbrella for...
Read moreI’d recommend avoiding this hostile environment entirely unless you come prepared with a detailed itinerary to share with their parking lot enforcer. He’ll chase you down as soon as you leave your vehicle to make sure you’re planning to buy something from one of their businesses within one hour. If not, he’ll tell you to move your car immediately and threaten to have it towed.
So here’s my advice: if you’re planning to visit a business within walking distance and grab some Qdoba for home, you’d better pick up the Qdoba first and then head to your second destination while your food sits in the car getting cold. Otherwise, you’ll be accused of trespassing and blamed for costing the plaza hundreds of dollars in imaginary lost revenue, even if you’re a paying customer.
This area actively discourages people from patronizing the businesses it’s supposedly protecting. Spend your money somewhere that doesn’t treat its customers...
