I Ordered on 8/9 at 4:30pm they said 30-40min it would be ready. Got a text 4:47 pizza in oven and at 4:57 order was ready. I was there at 5:04 for pickup then was told 8 more minutes. Went back inside at 5:20 was told still not ready. At 5:30 finally got my order and asked if there was anything they could do for the wait. The older Black hair lady stated their times are only estimated and I replied an estimated time of 30-40 minutes was given. Not to mention I received text at 27 min saying order ready. She offered me one cannoli and I said sure. She brought the cannoli out on a paper plate like I gonna hold it or have it rolling around in my vehicle when I have takeout. Asked if there was something if she could put it in and she sighed like it was a problem. I said don’t worry about it and left. Poor communication and customer service. Food is good but be prepared to wait after they tell you to wait. Also their JUMBO wings look like they’re from a new born baby chick. At 9$ for 5wings is robbery. It’s all captured with the screenshot I just sent! If you’re really busy @4:30 in the afternoon how about being sure and saying we’re at a 1hr plus for pickup. Everyone that was coming in while I was there being told it’s not ready and there were multiple people. I did appreciate the small gesture of 1 cannoli that was brought out on a paper plate. When I asked for something to put it in because I ordered TAKEOUT I got a lazy response like c’mon. I spent 76.00$ with my family waiting for over 45 minutes longer that expected to bring food! How about just saying we are working on things and will do better in the future. Instead of working with local customers that want to spend money with your business and making excuses for offering 1 cannoli for longer than promised wait times that are screenshotted. Not to mention those JUMBO...
Read moreI'll start off with the positives first... Best mozzarella sticks I've had in the area, large, gooey, and perfect. The Bolognese pasta dish, which was supposed to not be baked, came out wrong, but it was good and just needed extra sauce since it was not supposed to be baked. The pizza, I got Grandma vodka with chicken at&t, The crust was perfect for both thinness and taste, and had the right amount of sauce and cheese as well. However, the chicken was sparse and had a tough texture. This is the second time I've had their Pizza, the first time approximately a month ago was plain cheese and it was on the dryer side in my opinion, needed more sauce and cheese. But the crust again was perfect. The garlic knots were drier for my liking and needed more oil and garlic. The service was slow and they got our order wrong even though I ordered in person and repeated back verifying our order. This is probably just growing pains and new staff... The atmosphere could be better, it only had three little tables and no other seating inside or outside, making this strictly a takeout place.
Overall it's my second favorite pizza closest to home. Again, everyone has to try their...
Read moreLoved the Pizza! - I have ordered Margarita Pizza and Rigatoni pasta with alfredo sauce, both were good. We moved to Waxhaw from NJ/NY a couple of years ago and have been missing a proper NY style pizza here in charlotte. The wait is over and we have found the best pizza 10 minutes from our home in Waxhaw. Pizza is perfect and has a rich flavor. It has a perfect balance of dough texture, flavorful tomato sauce and quality mozzarella cheese. Each bite of pizza and pasta was a flavor burst. You can tell, they use quality ingredients. Although the wait time for pizza order we were told was 1 hour 45 minutes, we were able to pickup within an hour. But this place deserves to give a try, no matter how long the wait time is. I am looking forward for the full fledged opening of this place and ability to order online and also may be a delivery service at some point. This place has a good feel to it, as it feels nested between the trees and I hope someday you will be able to expand to have outdoor...
