Whenever I am out with my family, and we want to stop for food we get Queen South. This restaurant is perfect for walk-ins because there are never many people there. It is relatively new, so not many people know about it, but I believe everyone should. My favorite thing about this place is the menu options. There is so much to choose from and there are so many different food categories. There's calzones, pizza, salad, wings and even tacos. I have 3 siblings and it's hard to find a place to eat that we all agree on. My parents love taking my family here because they know that because of the food variety we will all be able to find something on the menu we like. I also love the number guessing game they put on the TV. It is entertaining and the people sitting at the bar love the game too. The servers and bartenders here are very personable and easy to chat with. When I come here, I always order the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and then a burger with a soft pretzel bun. This meal is unmatched. The atmosphere is really nice. I have never been when it was really busy, so there is never a wait...

This was my first time at this place. Unfortunately, it's my last. We were seated outside so can't really say much about the environment. Our waitress wasn't great. We had to ask for napkins and silverware. She kept chatting away with another table. However, the staff helping bring the food out did it quickly while still freshly done. We ordered the chicharrones with garlic salt which were fresh, still popping and warm. Only a bit oversalted but otherwise really good. My husband's unsweetened tea was fresh and perfectly brewed. The garden salad was ok, not overly fresh or crisp. The raspberry vinagraitte dressing was awful, however, so we ended getting just balsamic vinaigrette. We got the 4 seasons quattro pizza which was just bad. First, the 4 toppings, olives, artichokes, mushrooms and prosciutto, came divided in 4 quarters (terrible idea). Then the whole pizza including the sauce was plain and flavorless and obviously can bought. The crust edge had a little seasoning. Honestly, just adding real good seasoning and mixing the toppings would have saved it even with can...

I really wanted to believe the most recent reviews were true and accurate because the later ones were not very positive. The filthy (bar area) floor was strewn with garbage and that was the first red flag. If they have no shame to present the dining area like this, what must the kitchen area (that no customer sees) look like?

Twice employees walked past us and didn’t say anything. We weren’t sure if we were to wait to be seated or seat ourselves. There was no sign. Many employees were socializing at tables in and outside the bar maybe waiting for their shift to start or just finished up, not sure, it was unprofessional. It is important to cater to the locals, yes. We love our community in Waxhaw, but had the drinks and food been remotely decent then maybe a 2-3 star. The wings were actually perfectly cooked. The burger was dry, dense and overdone and the fries tasted frozen and not fresh as advertised. Too many other places in the area offering up incredible food, professional service and a clean...

Went for brunch. This is stop one on our brunch tour of Charlotte. It was decent. The bloody Marys were fantastic. A bit spicy but still awesome. The salt on the rims was delish! Service was great. We were the only ones there though so I can compare if it were busy. I had the Italian benedict. It was good but needed salt. I've never had a benedict like this so it was definitely different. I liked it. It was very nicely put together too! The potatoes, while they also needed salt were perfectly cooked and super yummy. I also tried a pancake and loved it. They should have served it with warm syrup and it would have been off the charts. I don't care for cold syrup on my pancakes. But the pancake was fantastically cooked and had a good flavor. I loved the crunch. They also have some seriously married ketchup. Like seriously married to the point my bottle was full but the label on the bottle was faded. Ewe. Overall it was good but I wouldn't go out of my way to get to it.

NOTICE: Every year, Queens South has T-shirts made and all proceeds are donated to Tunnels to Towers!! I’ve included pictures of T-shirts from the last few years!! The Littles and I needed a place that was open late and had great reviews. Google sent us to Queens South, Waxhaw. There was a little bit of a wait, but it was definitely worth it! The atmosphere was fun and lively. The menu offered a wide variety of entrees. We all ordered something different and tasted a bite off each plate. The food was Amazing y’all!! Even though the place was packed, our server, Amanda, handled it all flawlessly! Queens South was opened a little over six years ago by Chuck and Donna. Donna was there, working just as hard as her employees. That alone says so much!
