It was the worse experience I’ve had there we had a table of 3 we ordered 2 entrées and two orders of the green beans and three drinks which consisted of a Coke and iced tea and a hot Tea we arrived at 11:00 PM place our order and waited and waited finally after forty minutes we asked the manager where our food was and she said she would check, instead of her coming back and telling us, she sent the server to come tell us that our order was shoved back and misplaced or whatever that it would be out in five minutes another 20 minutes, went by and we still didn’t have our food. The manager came over and said that she would give us a free dessert. I’m sorry, but that doesn’t cut it with me. I’m in the hospitality business and that doesn’t work. We still didn’t get our food right away And finally one of the girls from the kitchen brought out one of the entrées and it wasn’t right it was spicy, and it was specifically asked not to be spicy so it was taken back to the kitchen and the server came and said that it cannot be made that way.the told the server that is how it is done so my friend said that she did not want it because it was to spicey so as we were eating our other food someone from the kitchen brought out the dish that was to spicey and said that they redone it so it wasn’t spicey but we were told 15 minutes prior that they couldn’t do that so what is it another lie. The green beans were nothing like I have had before there either. The manager never came back to see if there was anything else she could do for us or see how things were which is very poor management. Our server brought us the bill and I looked at it and was appalled that nothing was adjusted on that bill for the inconvenience of the time that we waited the quality of the food in the poor management, so I asked the server if the manager was going to do anything about the bill and she said that she would ask in which she did and the manager cut our entries in half. But I also want you to know that the table next to us got up and walked out because they waited a long time and I personally asked them what happened and they were told the same excuse that we were that their order was shoved back and misplaced so they left and didn’t even eat very angry...
Read moreWe decided to stop in for a bite as we heard some good things about the Lucky Dragon.
The ambiance was pretty good. The seats were a bit close too one another but the location doesn't allow for a lot of extra space. The bar area was decorated with various Asian decor, which was laid out nicely. There is a very large screen that cycles through various pretty scenes, which is a nice addition to the room. The location was clean and didn't give any concerns for cleanliness.
The service was great and the waitress was very attentive and friendly. The pace of service was good and it was obvious she was being attentive to drink levels.
The food was good but not great. The Kung Pow was flavorful and contained a good mix of various things. The beef was tender enough with some bits that were a bit tough that required some caution when swallowing. The Kung Pow sauce was flavorful but towards the end of the meal became a bit overpowering and salty. The Pad Thai was not good. It was flavorless and the noodles were mushy. The combination of chicken and shrimp don't seem to work together and I would recommend just getting the chicken, if you get the dish.
Overall, I would say if you really need some Thai, then it will do in a pinch. I will most likely not go again but I could decide to try something different to give it...
Read moreCute restaurant, good service. Food is wayyyyyy too expensive. I got the lucky dragon fried rice -$19. All of the meat was overcooked and chewy/dry. The rice was barely seasoned, I had to dump a bunch of their soy ginger sauce on it to help fix it and I added more stuff to my leftovers when I ate them at home. They charge $6 for hot tea (free refills but still, wtf). It's tea bags individually wrapped too, I'm sure those cost a few cents each. The sushi was okay (shrimp tempura roll), the rice was really dense and weird though. They charge $1.50 per extra sauce, and it's not a lot, just a small cup. Their "hot mustard" was not hot at all and tasted nothing like mustard. It was more like bitter mashed egg yolk from the middle of a deviled egg?? Gross. That came with our pork dumplings which were okay. I probably would not recommend eating here, not worth how...
