This place is consistently horrible. Not just bad; Horrible. When I was a teenager, I too was a Taco Bell employee. I know for a fact that despite being stoned out of your $&@!ing mind the entire shift, it's not hard to slop simple ingredients onto a tortilla is a short amount of time to keep people flowing through the drive-thru. I don't know if it's because the weed is better now or if the employees are doing rocket surgery between orders but the average wait here exceeds 15 minutes.
Not tonight, though. Tonight I was thru the drive-thru in 1 minute. Against my better judgement I rolled up to order some greasy breaded and fried amputated chicken appendages from the KFC portion of this fast food circus. When I pulled up, some young gentleman that appeared to be an employee was on a scooter with the throttle pinned, participating in his own solo KFC 500 around the parking lot. But who the $&@! really cares? Right? I just want some fried chicken. A young lady comes over the intercom to take my order and hits me with a verbal punch to the nuts; "Keep in mind KFC is closed but you can order Taco Bell". What do you mean KFC is closed? Aren't they the same restaurant? Is KFC closed because the chicken fryer is test driving a Vespa in the parking lot? What exactly in the $&@! is going on here?!?!?! Anyways....I left. I'm not going to return. I'm done and you all should be too.
On a positive note; they only $&@! up my order most of the time here. I have received some correct quantities of the items I've ordered in the past. Good job on...
Read moreIt took 31 minutes to get a taco 12 pack. I watched five 12 packs be made and handed to drive thru. Over 25 orders were handed out the drive thru before they even started on my 12 pack. The family of six before me (the only other clients at the time) also waited over 30 min for their order without any drinks. The guys that walked in 17 min after me got his food before me. That’s when I brought the issue to employee. When asked why other gentleman got food before me employee replied “because it was on my screen first”. I then requested a manager. Manager said short staffed and offered me a job. When I asked manager why 3 people preparing drive thru orders and rolling them out and no one helping other lonely struggling newbie on other side of counter with the order that were priority. He simply said he was going to finish another drive thru order and go help…. WOW. SO as more customers came in I advised them of the “lonely struggling newbie and in restaurant vs drive thru issues” and turned 4 groups away. I have work in different customer service positions for over 20 year, and now in a specialized behavioral AFC… that show behind that counter was ridiculous… cross contamination at its greatest. Drive thru female attendant touching face, food, her phone, money and your drinks. Other kid dropped all lids, picked up off the floor and put them back on counter and used them. And if you touch door handles or money… you must take gloves off and trash, wash hands and put NEW gloves...
Read moreMy daughter placed a mobile order for pick up since I was in Wayland. I got to the Wayland Taco Bell to see a long line in the drive thru, which is not uncommon. After 20 minutes of waiting in line I got to the speaker and the guy said he appoligized for the wait but it was only him and one other person. I said I had a mobile order pick up. He confirmed they had the order and said to pull up. I went around the line to the car next to the window and the guy then said to pull up front. After another 10 minutes of waiting, I went back around and pulled up next to the window again. Still they had not made the order. I asked if I could just be refunded and he said they could not refund mobile orders. At this point it had been 38 minutes since the order had been placed and cars had pulled through since he knew I was there to pick up the order. I get being short handed and feel I waited long enough, but after finding out they still had not made the 3 softshell tacos that would have taken than 3 minutes to make I told him forget it I would contact the manager in the morning. I'm sure it was not the fault of the 2 employees there that others did not come to work, but once they knew I was there I should have been the next order to be made since my order was placed before those in line.
