Benny's Pizza and Burgers — Restaurant in Wayne Township

Horrible in environment, service time, food quality.

Was excited to see someone moved into Dino’s, but was very disappointment when I finally got to try.

Food was awful. For the cost of the French fries we got about 15 fries, half of which looked like crusts of the potatoe and were about the size of a child’s small finger. The fries tasted burnt on the outside and disgustingly mushy on the inside with each fry having a completely different level or combination of spices. The pizza, which was “fresh from the over”, was dry and barely considered pizza. Every ingredient on the pizza tasted bad and gave me indigestion. I thought to be fair I’d try it again to see if maybe I got there at a bad time. Tried again during a slowly tome of the day for an earlier dinner. Sub was wrapped so poorly that the top of the sub was placed upside down and wasn’t even wrapped tightly so by the time I got it to go the sub was already upside down in the bag with the contents of the sub lining my bag. There were holes in the aluminum foil and he ends were wrapped like hard candy rather than properly wrapping it. Luckily the sub was salvageable, but that isn’t saying a whole lot. The sub roll looks like it had been squeezed as if somebody was trying to choke the sub. The meat on the sub was so chewy that ever other bite I was spitting out a piece, which is a big deal to begin with but there was such a small amount of meat on the sub that every spit piece was a large portion of the sub. They drown the sub in sauce so it’s about all you can taste. The sub my SO got was a tiny bit better, but the roll tasted very different from mine almost like a cheap chemically knock off of a brand which made them sick that night even after a few bites.

I have an iron stomach and even I felt ill after eating the food here.

I would not recommend it this place to anyone! The service during the day eating in is horrible!!! The server is very rude and not friendly at all and looks so miserable. I have ate in a few times and also had take out and the wait time was ridiculous both times. The only good thing was when I picked up and on the phone the girl was on point and very nice, that was like a week or two ago I went in and picked up. On Saturday evening decided to try eating in again and it was the same server and we literally waited 26 mins till my husband asked the young girl at the counter is anyone going to wait on us and she went and told the server and she finally came out. She is horrible needs more training and customer skills for sure!!! Such a shame thought would be finally better then the old place and it’s really not!!! Will not be going back there and i spoke to several other friends and not impressed or happy with...

If I could give this zero stars I would.... but had to press one.... the quality of the food is really lacking. We tried it twice just to be sure it wasn't a fluke and definitely wasn't a fluke. What they call marinara sauce was little more then tomato soup with garlic salt. The pizza dough was tasteless and under cooked and the toppings were basically dumped on not well disburse at all. It was alright but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it again.... for what you pay the quality isn't there. There is something to be said for restaurants that buy fresh not frozen ingredients and unfortunately it seems they buy a lot of pre made frozen foods. You might pay more as a restaurant owner for fresh items and making things from scratch but you will gain and keep customers if you do. Overall it was...
