Ok... I want to start off by saying; I love McDonald's! From the familiarity to the range of menu... it's been a favorite of mine since childhood. That being said: This particular McDonald's made me so irate and so disappointed that I stopped going to ALL McDonald's for months, as well as telling anyone who'd listen not to go,... had i not walked into a friends house while they were enjoying Mcnuggets and Fries and snagged a few... (because when you have open sweet and sour sauce and fries there... you gotta go for it!)... but had that not happened... I'd still be boycotting to this day. When this location first opened it was 24 hrs... the staff was friendly, energetic, courteous, and helpful... the food was Hot & Fresh every order... the lobby was always clean as were the restrooms... and (now this one's important!... not just to time challenged working Folks, but to the very genre in the food industry that McDonald's belongs to..) the orders were Always...always filled Fresh and CORRECTLY and quick enough to be considered Fast Food. Sadly not one of those things is true today. And my experience wasn't a 'fluke'... or a 'one time thing'... all different times of the day, during lunch rush, dinner rush, the 2-2:30a.m. (bars just closed rush), as well as when i was literally the only customer... i recieved poor attitudes from the staff.. not just a bad apple amongst the group... but everyone there acted as if my being there was an affront to them, not one smiling face.. not one hello sir how can i help you. So... on one of my 1st trips, I was met with a scowl and a "what do you want"... but i bit my tongue and proceeded to order, only to get food that had Obviously been sitting for the better part of 2 hours... and didn't have all of the ingredients that I ordered. So i politely returned to the counter and after waiting for the gentleman ahead of me to finish ordering, and the scowling face at the counter to ask me again (without looking up from the register) "what do you want"... to which i replied, "yeah, im sorry... i believe i got the wrong order."... told her what i ordered, handed her the bag with the old, incorrect order... she takes it, and sets it off to the side, and goes in the back... i wait about another 10 minutes... 10 minutes.. & this is during a lull... a few stragglers here and there in the drive thru, and a handful of people inside but no one waiting to order or anything... she finally comes back to the front, grabs my burger which has been waiting to get bagged for about 4 minutes... takes it to the old bag, which wasn't under a heat lamp, it was just sitting... Open, on a ledge by the milk fridge (or maybe the shake machine.. not 100% sure which...) but she goes to this bag... takes out my old burger... puts the new one in, and hands it to me... So i asked her, (again... i'm a very polite person...) politely... "im sorry to trouble you, but could i please get a new fry?"... Even though i also had Mcnuggets that were cold, as well as a chicken sandwich,... all i asked her to replace was the fries... her response was, "are you for real right now?!"... & this is a "manager"... This is just one instance... with one employee... but literally every trip to this location has been similar. Everyone i have had contact with here should be fired, as should the management that does nothing to remedy the situation... or attempt to change the...
Read moreWent through drive through ordered a big back meal. The big Mac was loaded with mayonnaise. Went in and they said oh we mixed up the mayonnaise with the big Mac sauce. I simply wanted another big Mac. They all stood there as if I wasn't even there. The manager came out and walked away as I was explaining what happened. They said I have to wait until all the cars in drive through are taken care of. REALLY ! I ALREADY WENT THROUGH DRIVE THROUGH. SO I asked for a refund and they waited for all the cars to be taken care of before I was refunded. I told my husband about my experience and he called this McDonald's on Michigan Ave. in Wayne. The manager acknowledged how you have to wait. The entire staff was rude especially manager. Mind you I was speaking in a relaxed, professional tone. I asked the manager if she ever reads the reviews at her McDonald's, she manages. SHE HUNG UP ON ME. I BELIEVE THAT IS THE WORST RESOLVE TO AN ISSUE. I tried to find the McDonald's corporate to share my experience and found out this is independently owned. Which makes it even worse. I can only wonder if the owner knows what's taking place in this McDonald's. I will be persistent in finding out who owns this McDonald's and find out if this is acceptable behavior by his/her employees and manager. I will ask; do you read your reviews ? Personally I don't eat McDonald's as it is well known how unhealthy the food is. My wife stopped and while she was inside being mistreated my grandson answered her phone. Perhaps a lesson on staying away from McDonald's. Not only unhealthy food but unhealthy service. Being looked at with animosity simply because you wanted your big Mac made the way it should be. Read moreWelp! Another one bites the dust!!! I was already down to just a couple McDonald's I was comfortable going to. This WAS one of them. Smh. One faulty crew will do it every time. Do y'all care how your business looks? At this point I don't even like McDonald's anymore. Lol! Good job! There's one left that I'll go to and that's last resort. Here's why: Your workers don't seem to have common sense. I asked for a Daily Double no tomato. I get home and what I have is a double hamburger with a glop of mayo and lettuce thrown on it made with two bottom buns. No cheese. So I go aaaaalll the way back to the store.. wait in line AGAIN.. tell them the problem at the speaker.. AND AT THE WINDOW.. to pull the the 2nd window and get asked if I had the such and such order. Somebody communicate. The first window person did go and make it.. but clearly didn't relay the message. Then I asked if they could replace my fry for the inconvenience since they were cold. She hesitated.. and I had to do some bargaining.. but eventually she gave me the fry. That is the ONLY reason this is 2 stars and not one. Thursday May 15th.. around 10:30pm.. check your crew out. They're in there just handing out anything. I stay way too far to have to drive back. I might've gone without the cheese.. but two bottom buns?!?! C'mon now.. lol. Somebody was either trying to be funny or really doesn't have enough of an eye for detail to be dealing with people's food. That's unacceptable with your menu being already way overpriced. It was nearly $10 for two sandwiches and a small fry. I had to drive back.. which is upsetting.. and why y'all are get this messed up review. I may try again one day.. but it won't be...
