Papa Romano's Pizza & Mr. Pita — Restaurant in Wayne

The owner is Horrible we spent $127.00 and the pizza was horrible today it’s the 4th of July the owner ran out of ingredients that gets delivered to him from papa Romano’s he went and bought pepperoni from some place else the pizza tasted nasty the pepperoni had a funky taste we take the pizza back with our Receipt it clearly shows we bought a jumbo pizza for 39.99 and 2 large pizzas this guy wouldn’t give our money back saying we bought 4 larges even tho we had our receipt he yelled at my wife and argued with me this place is horrible it’s not worth the time to go there I don’t recommend this place to anyone the food is nasty it’s never consistent if there’s a problem he never takes responsibility for his food or actions I don’t recommend anyone ever go there their dirty they don’t clean they breath all over your food he argues with everyone just cause we asked him to change gloves cause he sneezed and whipped his face with the back of his hand which was covered with a glove.I CAUTION EVERYONE DONT GO TO THIS PLACE YOU WILL HAVE A PROBLEM ILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN THIS OWNER HE TREATS HIS CUSTOMERS LIKE TRASH HE WAS SAYING AMERICANS ARE LAZY TODAY I WAS LIKE REALLY YOUR IN OUR COUNTRY SAYING WE ARE LAZY.THIS IS THE WORST PIZZA PLACE IN Wayne of Westland Michigan...

This experience was on 12-23-21. I hate to have to post this review. Wayne Pappa Romano’s was a long time favorite of ours. Recently it closed so it’s been awhile, we heard they reopened under new ownership a few weeks back and since we were in the area we decided to grab a couple pies. Unfortunately the new owners DO NOT KNOW HOW TO MAKE PIZZA OR BREADSTICKS. The breadsticks were so hard my jaw was tired after eating one, this is not an exaggeration, they were solid on n the inside. Both the pizza and the breadsticks acted as if they had no gluten. We ordered a half cheese half pepperoni pizza (I did not look at this pie who could screw up a cheese and pepperoni) the pepperoni side DID NOT HAVE ANY CHEESE ON IT. The other pizza was pepperoni, sausage, and bacon. Rock hard bottom crust, end crust was flat and hard. My wife who regardless of pizza quality who say “it’s pizza” when I asked her what she thought she said “this is really bad.” In addition we were told 25 minutes, the place was not busy at all and it took 45 minutes to get this stuff. Maybe you would describe it as pizza like cookies. It’s bad, it’s a shame, and I will not go back to my former favorite pizza place. It’s an official end of an era...

I have been to this Papa Romano’s quite a few times, and I have gone to other Papa Romano’s. The quality of food at this location is OK. It’s not bad but it’s not as good as the other place. Not sure what it is, so this location could use a little more flavor in their pizza. However, with that being said, I do get a better discount at this location. The other place charges quite a bit higher I tried to get similar discount but they said that they don’t offer it. The staff are good here no complaints there. It’s just the quality of pizza could be better but like I said I do get a greater discount so I can’t complain to much . I’m not sure if that is why the pizza doesn’t seem to taste quite at the same level as the other place. If they do improve their quality of pizza, then in the future for sure, will give them a...
