Wayne Chicken And Fish — Restaurant in Wayne

I went to this location and the food was ok. Prices were comparable to other locations around the area. My biggest concern about this location and other fish and chicken restaurants like it is they all seem to misunderstand that when they leave the front door open that they not only let in fresh air but they also let in all kinds of bugs namely flies. There has to be some kind of health code relating to this act. Red lobster, Burger King, or mcDonalds just to name a few that I’ve never went into one of these locations and the front door was open. In some of the reviews I heard some really good remarks about the owner. I truly hope that he/she corrects this immediately.

Mr owner this is exactly the place to review your location. Hence the review button. Under no circumstances are you allowed to keep your doors open even if the AC is being repaired. Lastly, all of the reviews that come through your website will not be to your liking no matter how new your location is. You could have simply responded that the issue will be corrected in a timely manner and left it at that. I don’t believe anyone reading my post will misunderstand the fact that the door is left open for all types of insects to enter...

I walked in, no other customers. It appeared to be just one worker, back in the kitchen area. He looked at me and then continued to it. He was doing as I stood at the counter, waiting. Not once did he acknowledge me. After a delayed portion of time. He walked from the back, never greeting me. Still at this time he had not acknowledge me. He put his phone on the counter and proceeded to look at it. I continue to look up at the menu. After another after another brief delay of time. He spoke in which I assumed he was speaking to me, because he never looked up. When I look back to return a greeting, he was looking down at the phone, making a phone call. He then picked the phone up, put it to his ear and walked back to the kitchen. After this poor lack of service, I walked out and went and got me some jalapeño poppers from around the corner where I’m always greeted promptly with pleasantries at the window. I own a nearby bar. So I know how important it is for customer service. I guess I’ll never know if the food here is good because they’ll never get my money. I guess this displays why I never see anyone there since it’s open. I tried to give a new restaurant...

Please dont under estimate this place, its in the cuts an you could possibly pass it up if your not paying attention, i was visiting Detroit for a couple days for the first time and the first day i was disappointed with the food i had, and i started researching an reading reviews and came across wayne an this place has wonderful reviews almost to good to be true so i said ima just try it i have taste for some good lemon pepper chicken and it was on the menu, i came it was empty which i didnt mind because i was beyond starving lol the cashier angie was so sweet great hospitality but booy oh boy that chicken was so good i had to double back again the next day because i had to make sure its always this good 😂 and the answer is yes it was even better the second day i was able to meet the owner he came an introduced himself and i loved that. Definitely a go to spot if your looking for chicken and fish, we need a location...
