A few months ago: We had wonderful service from the time we entered the door until we left. The street tacos and guacamole were outstanding! I also love the painted mural with the country scene and other paintings by the same artist and the parades of many painted peaches on one of the walls, a fun touch. Pleasant, pretty and clean, a very comfortable dining experience and great food. And we have been there several times since and wanted to say every visit has been great, and tonight was also. We had their wonderfully fresh guacamole and Molcajeta tortillas with steak, shrimp, chicken and sausage. Already looking forward to the next time.

The good thing - The service was probably some of the best I have ever had. Our waitress was absolutely on top of everything. Our drinks were never empty and she consistently stopped by our table to check on us. The bad - The food. The food was not what we expected. We eat a lot of Mexican food and have our favorites. This one is definitely on the bottom of the list. Food had very little flavor, salsa tasted like a salt block I buy for the hunting club and the meats just didn't have any flavor and/or no seasoning. I may give them another try, just in case this experience was a fluke. Will update my review of needed.

The food and atmosphere here is awesome! We visited on a busy day during St Patrick’s day when they were packed. The service and food were excellent, some of the best tacos we’ve ever had. Definitely worth a try when in Waynesboro!

I only leave 'reviews' when I'm highly satisfied or highly disappointed. Unfortunately I'm greatly disappointed.

I decided to grab lunch before my 6pm appointment and I must say... The worst Mexican restaurant EVER... I spend A LOT of money on Mexican food and drinks ...I love Mexican food (if you know me, you know). The queso was soupy..the rice was hard, the beans were crispy at the top as if they had put it in the oven to crisp. The beans or rice had NO FLAVOR! Then on top of it all, my head started hurting 😔 I had mentioned my experience to the "new manager" as she calls herself...She kept cutting me off while explaining to her that the servers should be more attentive to their guests. Also that it would increase their tips... She said they would have a meeting or something or another to discuss their lack of accountability etc...but what about the customers today, up until you have the meeting?? She was completely lying as I sat and watched how they treated certain guests vs the others.

To be brutally honest, I was the only black person here and also the only one to receive less service. I hate that I am having to say this but it's MY HONEST experience. I've only felt like this twice in my life. I would NEVER invest my hard earned money into this business or any alike where I do not feel wanted/valued. If they used less phones, they could be a little more attentive to their customers. On a scale of 1-10...it's...

Came here on a Wednesday evening while working in Waynesboro. I was excited to see that there was a cantina in the area. Finding it while driving was a little difficult as it is a storefront that blends in with the rest of the building. This place was not at all what I expected, very clean, bright atmosphere and kind of upscale playing like top 40 hits from the early 2000's. Not a single thing about this place felt like a "cantina" except that they had a full bar. I decided to give it a fair shot. I walked in and found a table, the server came over pretty quickly, she was polite but very quiet and kind of hard to hear. She brought some chips and salsa, pretty bland and most likely store bought and dumped in a bowl. I ordered the Oaxaca Fajita and waited maybe 10 minutes and just observed the atmosphere, it's a pretty nice place. My food came out and it was exactly what I expected, I call it "white boy Mexican" I guess Mexican inspired might be more PC. It was bland and disappointing. I think that they cater to their demographic in that area and they seem to like it. Just a heads up, don't go here expecting anything authentic and you'll probably...

I feel that there is such a missed opportunity at this little establishment. Waynesboro is saturated with Mexican food, 3 in the small town, why not serve something new that no one else in town is offering up or at least offer something to set yourself apart? With the name Peach Pit you would at least expect a signature drink, desert or even a salsa with peach in it, something to justify the "peach", instead its just a name. The food in my opinion was just so so, as well as the margaritas. I have had much better Mexican cuisine so it was nothing I would go back for. It was not busy at all when we arrived yet no one greeted us when we walked in, our waitress while nice seemed very shy and did not say much at all. On a positive note, the mural and paintings were beautiful and everything was clean...
