"Hold the onion" - learn and memorize this phrase before entering this place, or the cook will STUFF your burrito or chimichanga 95% with barely cooked onion, often including some tough, inedible onion skins as well (twice this has happened to me). It has been almost 2 years since I mentioned this, but the practice of serving onion chimichangas continues. There was even a huge chunk of onion, about 1/4 of a freaking onion, in the middle of my chimichanga today. The rest was just torilla double-triple folded over itself, with verrrrry few chicken "cubettes" (lol) and 3 strips of red bell pepper.
I normally tell them to "hold the onion" since the cook doesn't know how to cook with onions. Today I tried something the chimichanga, and forgot to say "hold the pile of onion".
Not that it would have been good, anyway, without the onion. If you order "chicken fajita" they will take old leftover chicken fajitas and chop them up into dried-out 3mm cubes and put a few inside your dinner. Yeah...your not fooling anyone Pura Vida.
The guacamole is, and has always been, terrible. It tastes of nothing but powerfully strong, rough onion. I'm not even sure how they get the guac to be the color green since there is no discernable amount of avocado in it.
What happened to the refried beans? They were different today. Terrible.
Today, the salsa was even bland. It was like they took salsa, and added water to it. I put salt and black pepper in it to try to fix it up.
My wife had flautas. Even though she had three flautas, she had only one flautas's worth of chicken distributed between the three. Two flautas were hollow in the middle! The flautas aren't even big, they are small - how can you be so cheap? I guess you folks regret not being able to stuff those with onion, too. LOL.
Yup. Today was our last visit. We are both very disappointed in the crummy meals we were...
Read moreThis was the worst Mexican food I've had around Weatherford. Had beef enchiladas with chili gravy. There was no chili gravy at all just a small amount of enchilada sauce with cheese. No flavor at all just bland. The refried beans were a grey paste again no flavor and the rice was the same. Put salsa on it trying to make it taste better but the salsa was more like tomato juice no real flavor either. Our waitress was friendly but anything we needed we had to wave at her to get her attention. She never came back to see if we needed anything then we were charged for dinner plates when we ordered off the lunch menu. When we went to pay and asked about it the hostess called the waitress over and her answer was you should have told me you only wanted two enchiladas and turned around and walked off saying she would pay the difference. I don't know how I'm suppose to know how many enchiladas they put on a plate. This was my first time there and will definitely be my last. Don't waste your...

Made the BIG mistake of taking family there for a birthday celebration. There is a sign on the door that they are short staffed, so we didn't expect fast service. BUT we were not even offered WATER for over 30 minutes. FINALLY gave our order and waited and watched as two tables who had come in LONG AFTER we did got their food. When we FINALLY got food, it was only 2 of 5 orders. Other 3 (all fajitas) came about 8 minutes later and instead of 2 chicken and one beef, they brought 2 beef and one chicken. The second beef plate was refused, TWO DIFFERENT PEOPLE came to ask how everything was, neither was surprised that the orders were SLOW and WRONG. They SUPPOSEDLY removed the second fajita plate, but the checkout register would not print a receipt so we really have NO IDEA what we paid. THAT WAS OUR LAST VISIT. GOOD LUCK. WITH THAT KIND OF SERVICE YOU WILL...
