I finally had the opportunity to stop in here, and I am so glad I did! The food here is AMAZING, and I will absolutely be back to try more! Since I was dining alone but was having a difficult time trying to decide what to get, the owner very kindly had the chef provide me with the Spinach Stew as a side. (This was incredible and had such rich, hearty flavors. I could have this every day and not be tired of it. I ended up getting an entree serving of it to-go because it was so very delicious!) I had the oxtail with rice; it was also served with a couple of sliced plantains and a spicy shredded cabbage dish. It was all mouth-watering! The oxtail just fell off the bone and was so tender. The rice was a longer grain and had a light texture. (I ended up getting an order of this to take home as well.) I did take two orders of the Birria Tacos home to my family. They all loved them and said the flavors were perfect! The owner is so friendly and helpful for picking out items if one isn't familiar with them.
There is a self-serve drink cooler with water, sodas,...
Read moreAttention all Webster residents, vacation-goer’s, tourists, and visitors: this is BY FAR the best food you can get in the area. My friends and I came the first night we were here and immediately went back for lunch before we left the next day. In these meals, we got the peppered goat, fried plaintains, jollof rice with beef, coconut rice and beans with beef, Waakye, and birria tacos. There is nothing you can go wrong with among this list— the food is made absolutely fresh, the quality of everything is great, and the portion sizes are enough for 2 meals at the price of 1. Naturally, the food is incredibly delicious as well. This place was the highlight of my trip.
The owners are a family bunch and some of the friendliest people I’ve encountered. It’s clear they love food and love sharing their cultural delicacies with the community. You will absolutely not regret checking this place out if you are looking for quality, delicious,...
Read moreVisited Afro Fusion in Webster, MA. Upon walking in, Eunice was extremely nice! The food took about 15-20 minutes to come out. My friend and I got Jollof Rice and beef stew, Coconut Rice with oxtails, peppered goat and spicy turkey tails (tsofi).
All the food was very delicious and well balanced. The peppered goat and spicy turkey tails both seasoned very well and had some spice but was not overbearing. Both of the meats were extremely tender!
The jollof rice and beef stew were delicious and my personal favorite! The stew was nice and sweet but also savory!
The Coconut rice and oxtails were also delicious but my only critique is that the rice portion could’ve been a bit more. The oxtails were very well seasoned and very tender!
Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend for someone looking to try some Ghanaian cuisine!
P.S There are other cuisines offered as well!...
