Scoop Deck — Restaurant in Wells

Location - Good location. Slightly Off Rt.1. Ample parking, but a bit difficult and tight during evening hours.

Food Quality - Assortments of ice cream. Cash Only. Good options. Size of servings are larger, but reflects in price. Nothing fancy with quality, hangs hat on many unique choices.

Atmosphere - Teen atmosphere. Unique set up where the servers are a foot below you on the ordering floor. Easy open entry and exit. Fluid. Clean building. Picnic tables outside for eating. May need more tree placement for shade, as most do not have any from the sun.

Service - Service is solid. Teens are happy and delightful. Great place to bring your teens on vacation so they can eyeball each other.

Price - Price to value ratio is a bit on the pricier side. You pay for location and for tourist target market. Good family place to bring kids, if your pockets are...

We came here as a family over a weekend visit. It’s a nice place with plenty of parking and tables outside to sit and enjoy your desert. LOTS of selection. And even a sink where you can wash your hands.

The only bummer is that they are super expensive for ice cream and due to volume, it’s a bit is a circus when ordering. They ended up forgetting my order while the rest of my family was served. They got right on it, but that was after a waiting a while thinking they were prepping my order.

Glad we came but we might try another...

Flavors on flavors at The Scoop Deck, the sign showing the flavors is massive but there are descriptioon each post breaking down what they are.

The people lingering outside made it look like a huge line, but as we walked up on an early Saturday evening most were already enjoying their cones. They were well staffed and the line that was there moved very quickly. We opted for the double scoop kiddie cones in the homemade waffle cones. They waffle cones tasted great and the size of them contained the drips so well, totally worth the added cost. The size was plenty for both kids and adults.

There is plenty of seating to enjoy your cone and I was surprised by the amount of parking. We passed our traditional ice cream shop to get here and we will do...
