Completely different from as advertised pictures. Upon entering the room a strong smell of cigarettes and must hit us. We looked around both in disbelief. The bathroom floors were disgusting! A hole in the flooring, hairs, dirt. Under the beds were months worth of dust and filth. The kitchenette floors were filthy. There was pasta sauce splattered on the wall next to the cooktop. I turned the bed down and hair and glitter were in the sheets. Oh and just like incase you like to feel safe where you stay, the door and door jam had an about 2 inch gap so you could see outside. We left right away. Called the front desk who stated “can we freshen the room for you”. Considering what we saw was their version of new guest ready we declined. Then spoke with her manager over the phone who stated she inspected the room and it “smells fine” and stated “I’m not giving you a refund”. Overall terrible experience, both of us felt so disgusted after.

On our way from PA to mid coast Maine we stayed there 1night with our dog in cabin 2. Easy access from interstate & right on 1. Place was clean, cute, cozy & quiet with plenty of room inside & out. Screened in porch with table & 2chairs & Picnic table outside. Would def stay here again. If staying in the Ogunquit/Wells area it would be suitable for a longer stay as it has a small kitchen with decent supplies. Also found a quiet neighborhood just around half block away to give our dog a good walk.

I am so glad I found this place. Very friendly. The rooms were very nice. If I get back up in that area, I will for sure stay there again. If you are looking for a place in the area you can't go wrong. And, they are pet friendly. This was very important to me as I was traveling with my mini schnauzer. They also have cottages. Although I did not go inside one, they look very nice from the outside. They have a pool and there's a nice beach a mile and a half away.

Visited; July 5th- 13th 2025 Purpose; family reunion First timers here renting in Wells Me Making our reservation was very easy and Lisa was a great help. I sincerely say,she went above and beyond to further assist me. We were driving from N Carolina- expected to arrive very late at night. I made calls to Lisa inquiring so many questions regarding check in. Very, very kind woman and not once did her voice elude in my many calls that I was a pest! Lisa is a wonderful asset to this business. We arrived extremely late( early) at 4am. We were so grateful after a 20 plus hour ride our entry to the property and our room was simple. Exhauted- we literally plopped into bed and sleep was had. Very peaceful and I could smell the salty air. Upon my awaking to a gorgeous morning- this is where I have issues. Spiders- good sized ones, were just shy of everywhere. Wasps were about the room and of course, those pesky mosquitoes! The decor and really, the space was a dump. There's a sign on the bathroom wall that asks guests to make sure the shower curtain stays " inside" the shower- the curtain was several inches to short to do so. This created much water on the bathroom floor. So, towels were placed to absorb its excess To move the wet towels afterwards to dry out- oh my gosh, bugs, bugs, bugs I will give kudos for the water pressure being a joy. Their ad pretty much reads this is a resort, it should read, a place to be used as a stop over only if there are no other vacancies The TV had no service- we asked for assistance- which they cam very quickly- hence the high rating from us regarding service. A re- boot I guess needed to be done- and a pass code. There are only local channels plain and simple. The floor of our rented cottage was never washed- our feet were found filthy from just going to the bathroom on our 1st night- I used a hand towel to mop the floor The kitchen set up was pretty poor- I'm very glad I brought my own cooking tools and pots and pans- I even brought my own cooktop- theirs worked- however needs repair- it never got hot enough to cook scrambled eggs- so I used my own There is no oven? My goodness- no oven and its advertised a full kitchenette set up This is not a good set up- pans offered are very small. There was a " list" on our table letting us know not to take anything- the kitchen sponge was 5 dollars if it is found missing- however- you don't begin with a new sponge- same for other items. No salt and pepper! Only 1 outlet in the kitchen for microwave, coffee pot, toaster- Let's not forget about those wasps, when I opened the cupboard door- 2 flew out! It was crazy I chased over a dozen my 1st day out of the bathroom, the bedrooms and kitchen I will say, the property in itself was run down yes- but no trask laying about Lisa and her team do a great job with that Overall, we will not return. This place needs to be reevaluated on price and very much update the entire inside Tammy...

We’ve been going to Wells for close to 10 years, every summer w the fam. We used to stay at the end of Mile rd, right next to the beach. Unfortunately, there is only 1 dog friendly cottage and the people staying there have been there for years. We didn’t want to leave Max 🐶 home w a sitter anymore. We missed him too much and couldn’t enjoy our vacation as much w our him. So we stayed at 1 dog friendly cottage near by, but it was soooo small u could barely walk in there it was so tight. Walking over Maxs bed, food and water bowls, his toys, not to mention it was slanted! So the next year we stayed at Beaches in a cottage. It was like a mansion compared to the other place we had stayed at the year previous. The bed was ok, but I have a bad back, so no bed is ever good. The first year Max wasn’t super comfortable, he prefers home. The screen doors on the porch’s kept slamming and making loud bangs. Every time he heard it he’d hop off the bed or get up from his bed if he was laying down. It was frustrating So the screen doors were too loud. But last year, I think, they changed the doors or put something on them so they didn’t make so much noise when they slammed. For some reason people don’t know how to use door knobs, turn them and close the door, as opposed to the slamming it. Same w the porch, but it does seem like there was something done about those doors. Maybe the owners could put a sign next to the doors asking people to try not to slam them, because the cottages r so close together. It is nice to have that small grassy area behind the pool for the dogs to walk/potty on and poop bags r even provided, even though we should all have our own! 1 thing that would b nice, if there could b some trees between the rd and pool, to maybe help block some of the traffic sounds. Basically everything u need to cook is provided for u in the kitchen, so that’s convenient. It’s really nice how dog friendly it is, the owners r always very kind to our 65lbs pit mix, chicken dog!! Last thing, we love the little screened in porch. We’ll c u all next...

The resort is on US1 and is surprisingly quiet. They do allow pets and I had to call about a barking dog that some guests had left alone. The office took care of it quickly. I had the 2 bedroom cottage and it would be difficult to have 4 people stay. Each bedroom has a queen bed, 2 nightstands and a 43" TV - no dressers and no closets. There is only one closet in the cottage located in the living room. There is only one bathroom and the shower stall is very small. The living room has a love seat only so it only seats 2 people uncomfortably. The dining area has a table and 3 chairs. The kitchen had 4 cups, 4 plates, 3 glasses, 3 forks, 2 spoons and one knife. There was a spatula also. There are some pans for cooking. The kitchen has a small stove, microwave and full size fridge - no ice maker or ice cube trays. The plates, cups and glasses had been rinsed but were not clean, I had to wash everything. I found more silverware in a second cupboard that had dried food on it. The cottage had a small screened in porch with two chairs and a small table. It had not been cleaned and everything on the porch had dust and dirt from last season - it was totally unusable. The grass was high when I arrived on Friday and was not cut until Wednesday before I left. There are no sidewalks to the cottages so you have to walk through the high grass. I was extremely disappointed in the cottage as it was the most expensive they have and was not worth what they charge. The cottage was surface cleaned but none of the kitchen items had been washed. There are no drawers in the kitchen so everything is put in high cupboards over the sink. I would have been much better off staying in a local hotel or other resort that provided breakfast and was at least clean. I do not recommend this resort unless you plan on cleaning...
