One star is more than they deserve. A friend who lives in Wendell ordered take out from Great Wok. She said she goes there often, a few times a month. While waiting the most unbelievable and abhorrent thing you can possibly see in a restaurant was a guy transferring food from a silver pot to a container DROPPED it on the floor!! Another guy told him to hurry and pick it up. The 1st guy did and preceded to put the food in a container, bag it and put it out for customer pickup. Honestly they should be investigated by the Department of Health to see what other disgusting practices occur there. When she got back to her house she told her family what happened and although the food was paid for it went into the trash. I hope they see this and rethink their...
Read moreFirst, it was the most expensive Chinese food we had ever bought. Second, it was terrible food. My husband and I each had a bite of our food and both had the same reaction. Kung pow chicken and pepper steak, 2 different dishes. Also had an order for our children of sweet and sour chicken, which was alright, and our children were starving so they ate it. I promptly returned my husband and I's meals and 3 orders of rice (which I asked not to get) and the customer service was TERRIBLE. The man at the counter was arguing with me. He tried to give me half of what I paid for the meal because we had tried the food. Absolutely not. It is not my fault that the food was terrible. I would never recommend this place because of the horrible customer service and...
Read moreOnly had dinner once so far, but was very good. We ordered the Subgum Wonton meal off the Chef’s Special section with a large rice. Came out to $16, which is a little pricey for take-out Chinese for two, but I was happy with the food. They charged $3 extra for a larger rice. Had small bowl of leftovers for lunch the next day from the portion. We came on a Thursday at dinner, were told “10 minute wait,” but probably only took 5 minutes. Picked up food hot and fresh! Would give it 4.5 stars because the prices are a little high, but the large portion was sizeable.
Note: For the “combination dinners,” they put the rice in the same container as the meat, whereas for the “dinner portion” size, the rice comes separate and the container is completely...
