Was so happy to have this location open so close to home. First couple visits were great. But apparently they've decided on arbitrary hours. I don't make a habit of walking into places for service too close to closing time for anything complicated, but we all run up against the clock now and then. Twice over the last couple weeks circumstances led to me needing to eat later than normal. Both times it was a reasonable amount of time before closing to expect to be able to get a sandwich, but apparently the posted closing time is just a suggestion here. First time, I pulled in to the open sign still being on and door unlocked. But as I walked up to the door a young lady approached the door, switched off the light and locked the door in my face. No sorry, she then proceeded to turn around and do a little dance celebrating that she cut me off. I was cutting it close so while I found it incredibly rude I cut my losses. Tonight however a good half hour prior to closing as I was on the way I tried to put my order in online to be as courteous as possible as they were surely beginning to wrap up for the night, but no dice ordering was already shut off with next time available tomorrow. Being there are not many options still nearby I figured I still had plenty of time arriving between 15-20 mins before 9pm closing. But this time as I pull in, the sign is already off and door locked. Staff was still cutting meat leading me to believe they could make food for themselves but not a customer? If the closing times mean a half hour prior, should really consider updating posted hours. If customers can't count on business hours, why should we...
Read moreThis is actually a new post I arrived back at Jersey Mike's on Friday to pay for my sub and give Abby a tip she wasn't working that night so I gave the store manager and envelope and told her to give this to Abby she told me she wasn't working that day and wouldn't be working till Monday so I asked her to please give that to her it's to pay for my sub and a gift for her inside and I called today to see if she had received it and I found out that they can't find it now It had money in it cash money and no one can find it and it had a nice letter to Abby I cannot believe that they would lose something as nice as that for her I think the manager was irresponsible and not taking care of it so I'm not a happy camper right now about all this but I still love Abby for what you did for me, I ordered a sub and number 17 and when I arrived at the Wendell Jersey Mike's I realized I forgot my wallet I know I have virtual cards on my phone so I was trying to pay for it through my phone wallet and I kept messing it up I couldn't get it to work and the young lady Amy let me go without paying for it God bless her for doing that for me I was getting quite frustrated and worried for people needed to use the register so God bless her and I plan to go back tomorrow and pay for my sandwich and give...
Read moreI hate to give this location a bad review but due to Shawn, here we are. My first experience was horrible. I came in right before closing and Shawn proceeded to tell everyone in the store including myself about how hard he had worked that day and he was ready to go. The closing manager was reassuring him that he would be out the door by 9:00 pm. You could look on everybody‘s face and tell they were disgusted it with him. He made my sandwich poorly and by far the worst Jersey Mike’s sub I’ve ever had. I decide to give them a second chance today and I had the pleasure of seeing Shawn again. After ordering my sub and requesting my toppings he proceeds to tell me that next time when I order I need to order Mike’s way and then add my toppings. I’ve never been informed by employee how to order my food before. He has absolutely no customer service skills and his communication is poor. Sean is a great example to the teenagers that he works with. He demonstrates what will happen to your life when you get stuck in the fast food industry. Thanks Shawn for the lovely experience! You should definitely...
