Excellent Italian food served from the original family-owned building by owner's family. Forgot to take pictures when the food was delivered because we werre so hungry and ready to dive in! They were busy but seemed to be able to keep up with the customers. We had grilled chicken fettuccine that was so good and the leftovers were even better the next day! Also ordered the Italian feast which had chicken parmigiana, lasagna and fettuccine Alfredo. The portions were generous, although a little pricey, but had to order a dessert since we'd seen so many reviews on it. Had the Italian cream cake that had the most delicious raspberry filling and the piece was huge - plenty for the two of is to share. Did not I t affect our opinion of the food but it was a little weird to see an older woman parked at a table by thw kitchen who sat there looking at her phone, taking to-go orders and 'managing" staff from that position. There was also another table seemingly set aside for preparing tableware for future customers. Food and service is excellent but those two tables seemed to create a...
Read moreThe atmosphere was a little a worry some. It was awkwardly silent and the place reminded me of something from kitchen nightmare. (Mind you this only first impression from walking in) the waiters were super nice and fast. My partner and I order the fried mushrooms as an AP, which were better than most places we go. I got the chicken parm with the Ceasar salad. Salad was mind blowing! Used to be a fans of Longhorns salad, but this threw it out the roof. Chicken parm was breaded nicely that each bit melted. The chicken was fresh and well seasoned and drizzled with their house marinara sauce which is way better than macaroni grill and olive gardens. My partner had the house salad with ranch was just as or better than any others. Ordered the eggplant parm which literally just as good as the chicken. Definitely coming here again. It’s quit, dim, and a bit still in the past but the food and staff is...
Read moreBased on other comments I did reserve a table for two but there was plenty of space when we got there at 7. The food was very plentiful and I was glad we only ordered one dish, the eggplant parmesan, to split between us. The restaurant graciously served the one dish on two plates. When the waiter brought us bread I asked if they had olive oil or butter to go with it. I didn't realize it was a type of garlic bread but he brought us a lovely, fruity olive oil and some fresh butter. They were both great additions. The eggplant dish was good but I found the marinara sauce on top very heavy and tasting more like tomato paste than a sauce. We also had an appetizer which we split between us. I had absolutely no room for any dessert, even the thought of dessert was painful! We will probably go here again and try something different on our next...
