Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Weslaco

I’ve eaten here at least twenty times by now, probably more like thirty. I’ve never had an issue with customer service once. In fact, the service here has always been quite impeccable from my experience. The food itself is a mixed bag, but usually fine, if not great. Id say the worst experiences I’ve had here are just when the food isn’t as hot as it should be, which is not often. Id say I’ve been served warm food (not hot) under 5 times out of my 20-30 meals here. That really isn’t as bad as most fast food places down here, but there is certainly room for improvement. I can say this, wingstop is always cold when they serve my wings but this jack in the box rarely disappoints when it comes to fresh food. Whenever I buy 3 tacos with fries, 90 percent of the time the fries are piping hot and the tacos are delectable. I saw one reviewer say that the tacos are “over sauced” but that really just comes down to personal opinion. I don’t see what’s wrong with a proper ratio of sauce to taco meat and toppings. In fact, I highly recommend the tacos here, as they are always crunchy and juicy at the same time. Several friends came today Nov 13 2025 at 11:00am and we all had complaints. First, they only gave me half of the order, 40 minutes later we had to get up to ask for the rest of the order. About my nuggets order she said to me grumpily "we're going to fry them right now" (40 minutes later and with the store relatively empty) and when they delivered them (which was another 8 minute wait) they were cold as a dead man. The egg in the "jack breakfast" had a shell that looked like I was chewing sand. The salad order that they didn't deliver for over 40 minutes was simply there in a to-go bag behind the counter as if it belonged to another customer and in a bad mood she reluctantly grabbed it and gave it to us. The coffee was delivered dark with nothing in it!! There was nothing to put on it (sugar, milk, cream, etc.) We had to get up and ask about the sugars and the half and half that they had hidden in a fridge behind the counter without even telling us or offering us anything. We will never go back to that Jack's again. If you visit this restaurant, go on a shift when these lousy employees are not there!!

Vinimos varios amigos hoy nov 13 2025 a las 11:00am y todos tubimos quejas. Primero, Me dieron solo la mitad de la orden, 40 minutos despues tubimos que levantarnos a. preguntar por el resto de la orden. Sobre mis ordenes de nugguets me dijo malhumorada “las vamos a poner a freir ahorita (40 min despues y con la tienda relativamente vacia) y cuando las entregaron (que fueron otros 8 minutos mas de espera) estaban frías como un hombre muerto. El huevo del “jack breakfast” tenia cascaron que parecia como si masticara arena. La orden de ensalada que no entregaban por mas de 40 minutos la tenian simplemente alli en una bolsa para llevar detras del mostrador como si fuera de otro cliente y mal humorada la agarro de mala gana y nos la dio. El cafe lo entregaron oscuro sin nada!! no habia nada para echarle (azucar, leche, crema, etc) tubimos que levantarnos e ir a preguntar por las azucares y la half and half que la tenian escondida en una refri detras del mostrador sin siquiera decirte o ofrecerte. Ya no vamos a volver jamás a ese Jack. Si visitan este restaurant vayan en un turno en que no esten estos...

Ok so the burger was amazing. Really tasty. The fries were very cold and i was not given ketchup. I was offered some but didnt get any. Now the main thing....so i had just seen a story about restaurants that upon placing your order they pretty much try to force you to make your meal Medium or large. As soon as i placed my order the girl asked me "Medium or Large?" This implies that this is all that is available to choose from. I almost said medium and then instantly remembered the story and i said "may I just have regular size please?" And she just replied "2nd window" as if she got upset or something. Im trying to find the link to that story cuz i wanna say it was jack in the box. Its not about the money its about the honesty....
