Peking Garden — Restaurant in West Allis

the food was okay. I've eaten here before and got other things on the menu which were fantastic. I guess I just didn't like the specific thing I ordered this time (cashew chicken) you get very large portions but it was the best average. the prices were actually higher than the online price. they don't have a credit card machine that begs you or guilts you into a tip for a carryout also which is nice. they built a big contraption to keep you safe from covid but covid is airborne spread not through contact, but it's nice that they tried. I don't know what their politics are but it looks like they're a little woke, judging from the signs in the window telling you to vote by mail and all old copies of Shepherd Express laying around. I don't like the implications. businesses should stay out of politics or they may automatically lose half their customers. anyways, I had called in the order for two dinners and they told me 10 minutes. that's very fast for me! it was ready when I got there. the advice plastic containers for the meals now and they just put the rice in the traditional paper boxes. there wasn't any utensils napkins or soy sauce in the bag but maybe I was supposed to get it myself. I didn't really see anything around but wasnt looking, either. We got fortune cookies though! I have all that stuff at...

....UPDATE TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW.... I've been coming to peking garden for 5+ years. I've ordered relatively the same dish. Shrimp fried rice with jumbo Shrimp. Why? Because the small Shrimp to me is no good. So I get the jumbo which I am happy to pay extra. Well the last time I ordered the Shrimp fried rice with jumbo Shrimp, they mixed jumbo shrimp with the small Shrimp which I did not understand because I specifically requested jumbo Shrimp. I even went over everything I wanted in my shrimp rice. Also, my husband ordered sesame chicken and bite into a bone. He was done with peking garden at that point. Not mention the rice was overcooked. But for me I like to support small businesses so I called and spoke to the representative who made it seem like I was wrong and they were not willingto fix there mistake. Not to get into the specifics but she ultimately agreed to comp me a shrimp fried rice and a sesame chicken. 3 weeks later I call to order my comp meal the same representative argued with me and ultimately stating my comp meal would not be replaced but based on what they thought I should get. I told her I am done with there business. Any recommendations on good places to eat...

Every single time I ordered delivery online through their website, and paid through their website with my credit card, days later my credit card would be used for unauthorized purchases! After the first illegal activity on my card, I purposely only used a certain card of mine to place several more orders over the next couple months so I could confirm my suspicions were correct. Sure enough, my credit card would be used illegally. It was the girl that took the orders as the purchases were for lingerie, children's learning guide, McDonald's, etc. All in the Milwaukee and Illinois area. NEVER AGAIN!!! YELP RATING IS ONLY 3.25 STARS!!!
