New No. 1 — Restaurant in West Allis

False Advertising!! If you click on go to website you can see the menu and order from there. That is what I did. I ordered a Dinner Special, beef chop suey. (It very clearly states at the top of the Dinner Specials section: Served from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Served with Chicken Fried Rice and Choice of: 1 Egg Roll, Can Soda or 2 Crab meat Rangoon

I actually made notes to the staff stating that I’d prefer shrimp friend rice over chicken and if it’s only a small amount I’ll just pay for everything separately.

I had my order delivered. Sat down to eat and I have NO FRIED RICE of any kind!!!!

I called the restaurant and spoke to one of the managers who said yea we don’t do that anymore! I said it states you do right on your website! He said no, I looked if you click order online there’s a different menu and you go though Uber eats Door dash Etc…

Either way this mgr said too bad we will not come bring you any, that’s not our problem! I live not even a mile away, and they will not give any refund of any kind. I told him I will be writing a negative review he said go right ahead and then… The man hung up on me!!!

If I had clicked the other way, it wouldn’t have given me the dinner specials option. But it’s not my fault they haven’t got their calendars in sync!

Horrible delivery time, and when I got the food, the sweet and sour sauce had been shoved through the lid of the gravy container, and there was a flood of gravy in the bag that got on EVERYTHING, including my coat, furniture and my son's clothes when we tried to take the food out. I asked for a refund. They said drive it back here and we will give you one. I said no, if I could have driven to pick this garbage up in the first place I wouldn't have had it delivered. I said I want you to deliver my money back to me including tip ($26) and I'll give that mess back to the driver. The manager hung up on me (probably because I talk fast and I was pissed but I TOTALLY have a right to be pissed about my personal stuff getting ruined), so I called back and demanded a refund or it would be a legal matter where they would be replacing the things that were just ruined by their crap food. My son ate a couple pieces of his chicken and almost threw up. I will NEVERRRRRR recommend this place to anyone and I will NEVERRRRRR order from them again. They're unprofessional and rude and the refuse to take responsibility for their careless actions. I'm furious!!!! And when they finally got here, the driver was very rude and demanded to see everything was in the bag. Anyone who says all Chinese food (Americanized) is the same - is wrong. Everything about the food from this West Allis restaurant is subpar. They got our phone delivery order wrong, even though the order taker said she understood. When you order shrimp and you get chicken - that is a major problem. The pea pods were the cheapest quality thin type, that were therefore overcooked and limp and an unappetizing olive/gray/green. The fried rice was tasteless, Hardly any meat or shrimp or vegetables and no egg. The chicken satay appetizers were dry and overdone - again with hardly any discernible flavor. (On the bright side, our dogs liked them.) The egg rolls might have had meat in the filling, but it was so fine, you couldn't discern a texture or flavor. The rangoon appetizers were soggy and the filling bland. The restaurant owner(s) and cooks must not think much of the American palette - or their reputation. We will never order from them again and my suggestion is you don't either. We will make the extra effort go out for Chinese.
