Worst bakery I’ve been to from Racine to Fond Du Lac county. Ordered some pumpkin pie and mint chocolate pie. I am almost certain the pumpkin pie was purchased elsewhere and repackaged and this “bakery” is reselling one slice for almost $6. If that’s the case (which I believe it is) folks should shop around elsewhere for a trusty and honest bakery that actually provides homemade and quality desserts for the same price if not cheaper such as The Bake Sale or C. Adam’s bakery. This place isn’t it I can assure you. Not only that, when I tried to get inside to pick up my items a man was very quick to block me from entering the store and handed me my bag of desserts from the doorway making it very clear I was not allowed in. It was unusual and uncomfortable. I don’t blame him though. The place looks like a total dump from the outside so I can only imagine how the inside looks. As for the “chef”. Be very cautious and knowledgeable of the google privacy policies. You don’t want to overstep your bounds as a “business owner”. Very sketchy establishment.

We stopped by Bishop's Sweets yesterday on a recommendation. Arriving at opening, we were greeted immediately and warmly. After a quick run-down of the days offerings, we selected a piece of key lime pie, a piece of butter cookie pie, and a chocolate chip muffin (for breakfast...not pictured, but delicious). Pie was saved for later. The key lime pie was good, with a solid pie filling and mild key lime flavor. Not my favorite key lime pie ever, but a good key lime pie! The butter cookie pie was the real shining star here. More of a "cake" than a "pie" in my opinion, the result is a perfect flavor comparison to a biscoff cookie, without the annoying crunch (I have texture issues, ok?). Sweet and delicate, a unique offering that made it worth the trip! Looking forward to returning to try cupcakes over the summer!!

If you’re looking for catering that blends excellence, flavor, and presentation, Bishop Sweets Catering delivers every single time! From savory entrees to their unforgettable desserts, every bite was seasoned to perfection and clearly made with love. The team was professional, timely, and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The banana pudding? A crowd favorite. And don’t even get me started on their peach cobbler—it’s a must-have! The meatloaf was seasoned to perfection. I drove all the way from Atlanta, GA to grab me several plates!! Whether you’re planning a formal event or a community gathering, I highly recommend Bishop Sweets Catering for your next occasion. They truly live up to the name—sweet service, sweet spirit, and sweet food.

This has got to be the MOST unreliable and inconsistent businesses I’ve ever had the displeasure of trying to do business with . Firstly the hours are all over the place. I’ve attempted to visit several times during their new COVID hours only to grind the lights off and nobody there . I was really interested in ordering on of the beautiful cakes they have on their website. To my surprise I stopped on a Sunday and the store was open . I purchased two items and went on to order a birthday cake for the following weekend. I even offered to prepaid and or pay a deposit. I was told no need which was a red flag I did tell him what time I would be around to pick the cake up . I called several times without anyone answering. I drive to the store during the time of the NEW hours , only to find I dark and empty yet again!!! I called again not response or answer . I even looked at the sign that had a different number and called that only to find it was disconnected. I ended up using my back up plan which was to go to Simms’s where they have some cakes you can purchase on the spot . So much for trying to do business with a small minority run establishment. Never once do I receive a call to say hey I am sorry I had an emergency or something. I’ve noticed several positive reviews which I find it hard to believe. I would really like to know what times they were at the bakery, because I went during the first hour they where supposed to be open and only one time out of seven visits it was open . I feel badly because I know small business was hit hard during the pandemic. If you happen to be in the neighborhood and they are open (which I seriously doubt). By all means stop in , but if you live access town l wouldn’t waste time ,...

I saw someone post in a Facebook group about how good the banana pudding was, so I thought I would try it out. I went to the website but it still needs a little work so I thought I would call Saturday morning to see what they had to offer. The gentleman who answered the phone was very friendly, patient and eager to let me know what was available. I asked about two deserts that were not available at the time but he let me know when they would be. I told him I would be there that afternoon. I walked into the cozy little shop right on the corner of 80th and Lincoln and was warmly greeted by a man of distinction standing behind the counter. I immediately knew what I wanted but the gentleman made sure to let me know that he was there to answer any questions that I might have had. I picked out a generous portion of banana pudding as well as a strawberry shortcake cup, each $5 per cup, and can easily feed two people. The banana pudding had a strong banana taste, absolutely delicious. The cookies maintained their crispness. The strawberry shortcake was also amazing. It was not too sweet, just perfect for me. I shared some of my dessert with my sister who went out the same day to get some banana pudding, and then the next day for the peach cobbler that...

First and foremost, I would like to say that this place has the "BEST" Banana Creme Pie in the city! Unfortunately, the inconsistency of store hours is a big issue. I live 40 min away, so I do call the store before going up there, but it seems to be in vain as there is no recording or message service set up. Having an outgoing message would be fantastic if you plan on closing outside of your posted hours which is a cheap and effective way to save people wasted trips. I have driven up to this location (again the pie is worth the drive) on numerous occasions (after first calling and googling his shop) only to find the door closed with a sign. Even as I write this, his store has posted hours that say open, but he has a note on his door that says he will be closed for the next two days. I noticed on one of the other posts that he lists his hours on Facebook, which is great for some, but not for those who don’t use Facebook like myself. Out of five attempts to patron this business only two have worked out. If you're in the area it is worth a visit, otherwise don't bother he's...
