7/6/2026 - 12:04pm I have been a loyal customer of Shatila for over fifteen years and have always appreciated the quality of your products and service. However, I had a disappointing experience during my recent visit to your Maple and Orchard Lake location that I feel compelled to bring to your attention.

During my visit, there were two groups ahead of me—a party of three and another of four—whom the staff assisted without issue. As I stepped forward to inquire about a cake, the staff member abruptly told me, “1 second,” and pointed to a customer who was standing behind me, stating that she was next. Even the customer behind me attempted to correct the staff member by acknowledging that I had arrived before her. Despite this, the employee responded with an attitude that she could help me.

At that point, I chose to leave the store, and as I did, the employee dismissively said, “Bye!” in a rude and unprofessional tone. I found the entire interaction disheartening and far from the level of courtesy I’ve come to associate with your brand.

While I may be just one customer among many who support your business, this kind of treatment is unacceptable. I hope this feedback is...

I’m truly disgusted every time I come to this place, I’m spending Between 100 plus dollars this is the second time they have forgotten to put the right amount of mini pies. With my order They have no problem charging me full price, but giving me the wrong quantities , when I called The young girl called the owner. She relayed the message back to me and said .” He said he’ll have to talk to you tomorrow, face-to-face and decide what he’ll do “ what a horrible and unprofessional way to treat someone who you have wrongfully inconvenienced 🤦🏻‍♀️I will no longer be spending my money at a place where people get treated like this, especially after I told the young girl that I wanted to stop by today and place another big order how on earth are you gonna tell me to come tomorrow when I wanted to stop by today word-of-mouth is a great way to ruin and slow your business down you chose the wrong person to do this to good luck, because I was planning on having you guys cater my cater my niece wedding welp Thts over thanks for showing us the “middle eastern...

A Delightful Spot for Middle Eastern Desserts

Shatila Bakery is a great place to indulge in Middle Eastern desserts, offering a wide variety of Baklava that’s sure to satisfy your sweet cravings. They also serve coffee and ice cream, making it a nice spot for a quick treat or a relaxed dessert break.

The Baklava is obviously a must-try, with its delicate layers of flaky pastry and a perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, nutty filling. The Knafeh is another revelation, boasting a crispy, buttery exterior, cheesy interior. If you can’t decide, the mixed pastries box offers a great variety to satisfy different taste buds.

The bakery is women-owned, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. It features high chairs and outdoor seatings. The entrance faces west, making it easy to locate.

I would definitely visit this place again and recommend it to anyone with a sweet tooth and an appreciation for Middle...

I’m honestly shocked at the quality of the Dubai Strawberry Cup I received. The strawberries were clearly spoiled mushy, watery, and had that unmistakable sour taste that comes when fruit has gone bad. This wasn’t just a slight off-day; this was inexcusable. Not only was the texture off, but the entire dessert had an unpleasant, almost rancid smell. I took one bite and had to throw the whole thing away. For a place with Shatila’s reputation, serving something like this is completely unacceptable. Either it had been sitting out far too long, or your quality control has seriously slipped. This was not a minor disappointment. It was disgusting, and frankly, I’m concerned about food safety. Please do better!!!!

Visited this bakery for the first time yesterday with my nieces and cousin. It is clean and everything looks beautiful. But…does it taste good? Well, the nieces ate their candy before we even left and loved it. I ate my chocolate strawberry kunafa cup peacefully after dinner. It was AMAZING. PERFECT. DECADENT. I wished to go get another. The owner (I believe he was the owner) was prideful and respectful of our lack of knowledge of specific ingredients. He even gave us a sampling of their most famous product and my husband ate that all up. But seeing the glee in my nieces was so nice. We are planning a trip back very soon.
