7/6/2026 - 12:04pm I have been a loyal customer of Shatila for over fifteen years and have always appreciated the quality of your products and service. However, I had a disappointing experience during my recent visit to your Maple and Orchard Lake location that I feel compelled to bring to your attention.

Read moreA Delightful Spot for Middle Eastern Desserts
Shatila Bakery is a great place to indulge in Middle Eastern desserts, offering a wide variety of Baklava that’s sure to satisfy your sweet cravings. They also serve coffee and ice cream, making it a nice spot for a quick treat or a relaxed dessert break.
The Baklava is obviously a must-try, with its delicate layers of flaky pastry and a perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, nutty filling. The Knafeh is another revelation, boasting a crispy, buttery exterior, cheesy interior. If you can’t decide, the mixed pastries box offers a great variety to satisfy different taste buds.
The bakery is women-owned, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. It features high chairs and outdoor seatings. The entrance faces west, making it easy to locate.
I would definitely visit this place again and recommend it to anyone with a sweet tooth and an appreciation for Middle...
