Very unprofessional. If you need a dependable order for an event like us do not go with this business. If you just want to pick up cookies fine. But if you need somebody you can count on don't go to them.

We ordered a cake for a special occasion. We ordered it a week in advance in person. When we came to pick it up the day before the event they told us they had no order for us. They when we told them that we placed the order they said they had no idea what we were talking about then the lady changed her mind and says oh actually no you're right I think you did order a cake and then you never came to pick it up last week - we thought you wanted to be ready last week. We had left her our phone number when we ordered the cake. So if they were confused about the date they should have called us when they had the cake ready. They did not call us. So this lady proceeded to gaslight me and tried to convince me that we had never placed the order even though I know we did. It was very unprofessional and not the proper way to respond to a customer when you make a mistake. Then she asked me who I placed the order with and I said it was with a younger gentleman and she starts saying oh yeah I can't trust these younger guys working for us so once again she's did not take the blame. It was extremely unprofessional. She was very defensive the whole time she did not want to help me figure out a way to get the cake that I ordered for the event. I understand that mistakes happen. But when I asked to see the receipt from our order she said that they don't keep receipts for cakes when it's been more than a week since that order was placed. That doesn't even make sense. Why would you not keep track for your business? I highly recommend if you need a dependable order for an event do not go with this business. If you just want to pick up cookies fine. We have been ordering custom made cakes from here for 8 years and I have to say my recent experience was terrible. I ordered a simple 8 inch cream cake, with a simple design for which I provided all the decorations, and they charged me $130 which is extremely overpriced. All decorations where paper made and has to be pinned on top with a toothpick, very simple!!! The cake did turn out beautiful but the quality was off. There was tons of icing on the top and way too much cream between the layers, and barely any cake!!! 50% of the cake was made with a low quality cream! Ordering experience was terrible too. I stopped by the shop and was told but the guy that he cannot take my order and I need to call the baker's cell phone. That was a wasted trip. I called and there was no answer. I left a very detailed text with the picture and details of the cake and got no response. I called over 24 hours later and the baker did not even know about my text message and passed the phone to someone else. The lady I spoke to asked me to bring the decorations by Friday evening. I dropped off decorations on Friday at 3 pm and the lady that was there gave me a bad attitude and said "we have been waiting for you!!!" Will never ever order...
