McDonald's — Restaurant in West Branch

I have had the worst experience with this location on January 8th,2023. I stopped off the highway after leaving my hometown of Davenport, IA to return to Urbandale, IA and ordered nugget meal with Cookies. The order was so freaking cold and manager on duty told me that there was nothing that he could do because their heater or fryer etc was currently not working. I called and spoke to a very nice Hispanic man that says he was asst manager and very apologetic offering to send out a couple vouchers in which I never received them so I called back and the head lady manager said she will send them out, still never received anything in the mail. 4th time calling back the head lady mgr told me that the assistant manager sent them so that's why didn't resend them and I explained that I haven't received anything and realizing now we are a month into the complaint. I finally received 2 free meals over a month later on 2.9.2023 and on 2.16.2023 my husband tried to use one of the cards to be told that they aren't any good. Now I'm really upset so I call back to the West branch location to speak to a manager at 150pm on 2.16 and explained to this mgr the issue and asked for someone other than him, he told me it was a slow day and no other mgr available so when I asked for his name his response was WHAT DO THAT HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING????? I asked for him to repeat and he did telling me that he wasn't going to give me his name in which I thought it was very unprofessional. I can see why this location is only at a 3 star because the staff is very unprofessional. I called the corporate office and lady named Santoria was even worse. McDonald's gots to do better and stop this madness. Do not visit the West Branch, iowa location because there are so many ppl not caring about you or...

Stop by there last night to use the bathroom and get an iced tea with my mom and the bathrooms were horrible the handicap stall, there's was toilet paper everywhere in the stall and the sink was all dirty and the urinal had piss and hair all over it and my mom told me that she used the bathroom and the handicapped stiall had blood on the floor human blood and her sink was nasty very and it wasn't even busy there's only one person eating there and 4 to 5 employees in the back it wouldn't take that long for one to go in the bathrooms and clean them and sanitize and actually do their job and then when we went to get ice tea after the horrible bathrooms it took about five minutes for the manager to come too the cash register just to order a f* icetea so bad experience all around and then there was another time that me and my mom we're coming back from Iowa City again and stop at McDonald's there and as soon as you open the door it's just smell like bleach the whole place it was almost so bad that it almost made your eyes water, when we went up to the register and we greeted right away and we ordered our food and went to sit down and the food was alright but the Place smelled so bad like bleach that you could barely smell the food you're eating over the bleach that's how bad it was then we eat and left and we do not recommend going to West Branch McDonald's off I-80 to eat...

In drive thru over 20 minutes I had ordered on app. Food cold & not fresh. I guess I ran over a cone where they had closed the lane I was in. Cones were miniature cones, yellow in color. Nothing think regulation comes.

Here it was the manager on the mico & all I could understand or here was something about cone.....

I had an ice cream cone in my order so I thought she was saying something about that. She still has the car in front of me order on screen. She would not answer me when I tried to get her attention as to why she was taking other cars oder in front of mine.

When I got to window she had a different side of story was.

They were very busy, but could have handled the rush in a more organized way.

She said they were under staffed and only had 3 people working.

Well I saw at least 5 different people working & I couldn't even see the front counter.

I stated I would be calling corporate, she said that is ok because they will just have me call you back. And smiled.

McDonald's needs to make sure their franchise store are following corporate rules!

I have had 2 stop today at different McDonald's and spent over $23.00.

Food NOT GOOD and room...
