I had quite a bit of trouble booking because the gift card my husband bought me was actually a credit on his account. Once we got that straightened out, I was able to book my red light therapy and float session.
The red light therapy was not my favorite. Basically you just stand in the middle of little room, between two panels of red lights in your birthday suit. It felt long and awkward just standing there. I'm not sure what I was expecting but relaxing isn't a word I would use for it. But, I'm sure one would get used to it and get benefits from it cumulatively...that said, I don't think that one is for me.
From there I donned the robe they provided and went to the float. I showered with the provided liquid soap and shampoo, and climbed in. I started with the little block holder to keep a little air in the tank, but once I got comfortable I was able to close the lid all the way. The time went quickly and the weightlessness and sensory deprivation was just what I needed to de-stress.
Nearly 5 stars, just a little bit lacking in a few things. My robe was pretty small (I'm not a huge person or anything..), a lady came out of the red light room right before me. There was a little stool you could sit on, but there wasn't a visible clean (I was sitting outside) between us, so it just seemed weird to sit on the stool. In the float room, it looked like a teenager had painted it, with roll marks on the ceiling, and missing spots on the side. With my booking troubles, I tried calling, left a voicemail, and called 2 more times with no answer. I finally called the Lexington store to see if they could help, and Patrick was very helpful and I had a call back from West Chester a few minutes later...where I was helped promptly. However, I was told, more than once, that I should have left a voicemail...when I had indeed left a voicemail.
Overall, I would do the float again. This was not my first float but was my favorite and felt it was...
Read moreA friend got me a Sauna & Float package so I could try both. They start you with the Sauna and it was okay. It was easy to change what you wanted (Relaxation, Pain, Weight Loss, etc.) and it had music that could be changed too. However, the first time you go they should only allow you to be in it 10-15 minutes because it’s intense! After that they make you take a shower before you Float so you get off all the sweat/ day to day grossness. Then the Float is 60 minutes, again, for the first time it should only be about 30 minutes because after that much time it made me have to pee! And there’s no toilet in the room so you have to put on a robe & go to the bathroom they have. But as soon as you come out of that pod the salt starts to dry on your skin, it felt like sand. So then I got back in after and it didn’t take but a few minutes and I started feeling dizzy & nauseous. Because the floating sensation is “weightless”, my head felt like if I were to take off in a plane and land 5 minutes later or if you’re starting to get car sick. Then it relaxed me so much (I guess) that it made my stomach tense up & when I got home I got sick. They say that you should try it 3 times for your body to get acclimated so I might try again. But damn! I’m really disappointed. Definitely think I’d benefit from easing into it more than diving right in. But the staff was very friendly & the place was clean, I definitely...

I drifted off pretty quickly while focusing my mind on my breathing. Before too long the session was over but I managed to get a good 30-minutes of sleep. I didn't want to get out, I was that comfortable.
I always feel invigorated and deeply relaxed after a float and today was no different. This put me in a good place for the day and upcoming weekend.
Thanks for a great experience!
Original Post: The pods here are really big and comfortable. The whole experience is designed around relaxing and unwinding. The warm water helps me relax and I either fall asleep or become so focused on one thought that the hour is over too quickly.
The staff are all friendly and the private rooms are well stocked and clean with all you need. Bring just yourself, leave your phone in the car and enjoy the experience.
Highly recommended for a bit of quiet time to focus on you. I honestly can't wait for my monthly float and wish I could afford to float weekly. Just not in the budget right now 🥺 but as soon as possible a weekly float is...
