I was excited to try this place since I like the one in the Roosevelt collection and I love to support local small business since my family also owns a small business. But the owner clearly needs better management at this location and better training. I bought an ice chai tea latte and was given a cup of 90% chai concentrate and 10% milk. The drink was dark. And if you normally drink chai lattes you know it has a brown coffee color. I asked for more milk and the employee had me chug a bit before adding more milk. Even then the drink tasted straight like concentrate. Also seeing the review about food poisoning doesn’t surprise me. If you want to pay $20 for disgusting food and coffee then this is your spot. I hope the owner looks at her reviews and changes the management and training. Also as a UIC student the reputation for this place is not good.
